This knife is insane. I’m still giddy at how light it is. Perfect action and lockup. Beautiful craftsmanship!

Here it is on the scale compared to the TRM Atom. At 1.6oz I feel like I could blow this knife away. Lol.

And yet Ben Banter just made his new knife open source for parts of the knife to allow for customization. He see's the value in selling more because there is more "aftermarket" support for them. As well as just a cool knife nut that likes to see guys do things at home too and make it easier for them. He still holds the patents for the important parts but wholly supports the community for the cool customizing stuff. Wish more companies took his approach at this and realize the potential.

Made a 3D print of my TUNA model. I’m about to start working on the lock bar design so I wanted to print it out and make sure I’m happy with everything before I move forward on the design.

Craig Brown FSD with 20CV blade came in today. It’s a completely different animal from his previous work. Feels a lot more utilitarian and way bigger. I can understand now why he didn’t offer more exotic materials for this in his builds.

Yeah, maybe I can get in on the semi-customs this time around :fingerscrossed:

Its a compression/liner lock that is disengaged by the button.

On a whim, I picked up a TT bolt action superconductor in their last drop. I like the mechanism on the Saga better, but the bolt action is growing on me now that I’m more used to it. I also wish the Saga were a little longer.

Giantmouse GM9 for scale and to stay on topic, Reaver Citadel for flavor.

Well, I used this on a whitetail doe yesterday and it performed great. Carbon steel, sharp as could be. Only complaint about this knife is the handle. Old timer should have used a delrin handle and it would be a perfect user. The bone is nice but it’s jigged and after hard use pieces flaked off as you can see around the handle fastner. That problem is consistent with other reviews I read. It’s unfortunate because the blade is great and you can’t beat carbon steel. I’ll keep using it but eventually it’s going to look real rough.

My normal user for game is the Buck Vanguard. Great knife. I kinda wish I had gotten it in 5160 but it’s still great with stainless steel.
