I think he’s being playful and or facetious. Looks good though, no denying that.

Thanks to this forum I just put in a set of the Rough Country seat covers made for 2016+ Tacomas. Fit like a glove on my 2010. Highly recommend. Though I found most install videos on YouTube the guys were putting them in wrong in some way. First video he had the driver and passenger covers switched. Anyways definitely recommend taking the extra time to get them all tucked in correct and tight.

Did some work to the RCI front skid. Welded the useless front door permanently shut so rocks can stop opening it up.

Added the soft topper. Wasn't sure about the tan on black, I'm really starting to like it.

The tan looks good on almost any color. I've considered selling my tall ARE cap and getting a gently used soft topper when one comes up for sale.

So, I have not done a whole lot to my Tacoma because my Miata and VW CC keep getting in the way. Anyway, the OEM tires on my 2014 finally needed to be replaced and that gave me the go ahead to get the wheels I have been eyeing for almost 8 years.

I went with with refurbed OEM 01 - 07 Highlander wheels wrapped in General AltiMAX 365AW 225/65R16s. I am very pleased!

Okay a while back I posted about my right side bed brace rusting through then I ended up snapping the bolts because they were so rusted. Well couple weeks ago the left side one broke too. This time for about a week or so I tried to use rust penetrant to loosen those up and that did seem to work. So I got a blow torch and those things popped of pretty quick then. At first I was kind of skeptical of doing that because the bed is after all plastic but it didnt seem to melt at all. I didnt take a picture of the new one in but I thought I let you guys know if you end up having to replace your brace thats probably what your going to have to end up doing.

I love that wireless charger mod. Was lucky enough to find one and was the first mod I did. I guess they're hard to find now...I don't know

Not always a fan of permanent mods that require drilling holes into my interior. That being said I needed a way to mount my work radio charger in the truck. Didn't have any metal to fab something so I grabbed a 2x4. Cut it down and painted it black and attached the radio mount. Then I made some straps that go around the 2x4. One attaches to the seat belt and the other is bolted to the floor with one of the seat bolts. That keeps it from moving forward and back. The seat and center console keep it from moving left and right. Might do some metal fab and replace it later on to have it look more automotive/ factory than woodsy but for now it's doing the job. Also wired in some toggle switches to control some cheap seat warmers I bought that I have under my seat covers.

Did you mean to say rust penetrant didn't seem to work? Reason I ask is you mentioned after that you used a blow torch. How long did you torch the nuts for?

well the rust penetrant did do its job because rust was definitely coming off but it wasnt budging. I torched them for about 15-20 seconds

    This and that...
Out with the old, in with the new. @WarFab Armor built a solid bolt on bumper.
