Just a heads up I’ve had my SECOND coolant pump failure as of this morning. I don’t post much here, but I do read a lot. Make sure you’re keeping an eye on intake temps, or check the flow every once in a while.

I use OBD Fusion App to monitor temps, also you can take the cap off the reservoir and you’ll see it/hear it flowing.

Same here. Installed the second warranty pump yesterday and the system still doesn’t work.

Digging into the electrical side now to see if there is an issue with the harness.

Magnuson is telling me to keep vacuum bleeding the pump/system as it’s sensitive to air.

I went outside and grabbed my harness and the pump came on. So, it’s definitely in the wiring. Going to dig into it more this afternoon.

My issue is the harness. I ran some spare wires I had in the garage from the battery terminals straight to the pins on the pump and it fired right up.

Trying to get a new harness sent out to me.

Mine is also the harness. It’s the plug that plugged directly into the original pump. The new pump they sent had a different connector, and they supplied a pigtail adapter, but that original connection is what is bad. I cut that original connector out, and spliced the “new” connector directly the the harness and all seems good. Just deleted it all together.

Those of you with an AFR gauge running to a new O2 sensor - where on the cat pipe did you install the o2 sensor bung?

I have the Revel VLS Air/ Fuel Wideband Gauge. I was thinking the right-side cat, similar angle and location to the upstream stock o2 sensor, just on the opposite side of the pipe.

    Appreciate any input!

Right side just a little downstream of the factory O2 sensor. Made a little cutout in the heat shield.

I had the OEM exhaust reroute before the Magnuson... And the flat RCI skids, then, as a result.
I think the instructions for the AFR say to put it at least 18" from the header or cat? So my shop steered me towards the URD Y pipe which has a bung built in. Also this removes the first cat and fits under my RCI skids. Flow is better, and exhaust sounds a little meaner. BUT I have had exhaust leaks ever since that have been hard to track down. I think the URD Y pipe had leaks in it as well, we found (and fixed). Once that all got sorted, it drives great.

i second Kruuuzn, except i went higher above the two shield bolts, and he went lower between them. Definitely needs to be before any cat, for a meaningful read.

Anyone experienced a clicking sound during cold starts? It typically goes away after the engine is warm but it's very noticeable at start and drives me crazy.

It's definitely coming from the belt but I can't really pin point exactly where.

I heard it once or twice when I was in Cali. The truck used to sleep in the garage so not a big deal. Now I'm in Colorado, it's winter and car sleeps outside (at least for now). So now the clicking sound comes up every morning for the most part.

??? not sure what to make of that. No equal, or any, noise here. Maybe injectors doing a cleaning cycle? Presume engine oil level is correct? Odd that it would be from the belt with no apparent signs of wear on the belt. Wonder if something is stuck behind one of the pulleys and it eventually moves aside after repeated rubbing. ?? Video maybe.

Nothing is stuck behind the pulleys. Belt has about 2000 miles so I doubt is worn at this point. Again, it only happens on cold mornings and never on warmer weather. If it was something stuck or worn belt, it would happen every morning regardless of temperature.

I found this thread below for an old gen with a SC where the guy was having a noise on cold weather only as well. It looks like maybe an issue with the idler pulley but they never confirmed if it was that or not.

    https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/idler-pulley-on-supercharger.750351/

I'll try to take a video and post it here next time.

agree - likely a pulley issue.

Bell is not ringing very loud, but I think there is a TSB for under hood noise or clicking? Belt noise I think? Maybe someone here can recall what I am partially remembering.

Magnuson TVS1900 Supercharger with 87mm pulley, Catted OVTune dumptubes, Doug Thorley 2.5in y-pipe, custom mufflers, 76mm Tundra throttle body, 5.29 Yukon gears, JamesT custom fuel rails, Yotawerx 87mm tune, Eibach Pro Truck Stage 2 suspension. And some other stuff.
This weekend, per the recommendation of Yota Werx, I installed new spark plugs. I bought "NGK DILFR7K9G (platinum pin on the ground electrode) #91961" then reduced their gap to 0.03". It was definitely worth it. My gas mileage improved just a little bit and my engine started running smoother.

Also in theory it should improve longevity of the boosted engine.
