Wanted just a little more thump to my speakers. Installed this 8” powered sub from Rockville in the rear double cab storage area. Inexpensive and fit my needs. Now realizing I need to do some sound deadening. (Likely next/ future mod)

 

where did you get instructions from ? I want to print it out as well .

So glad my SX came with no decals and no badges aside from 4x4 on tailgate. Did have to remove dealer sticker.

Spiffed up SR. I think details vary by year and color. Mine blacked out, no badges, 16" black anthracite wheels convenience package that includes keyless entry and the premium entire H/u. As others have said it's actually a nice budget upgrade to the SR. Also came with tow package. No SX decal on my MGM. Don't know if that's standard.Black fenders.

 

Cool, never could find much info on it, I spoke to a local guy with one and he swore it was a SR5 with the factory lift and off road goodies

Best I can figure theSR 5 is an upgrade but seems to come with all the chrome guys are blacking out. May be wrong. Someone will correct or elaborate.

 

So i built the rack myself and put on running boards and mud flaps. I dont consider that modded.
When I was a young man about 16 I had a Ford van. I shaved the door handles and drip rail. I added gull wing doors to the rear and side I molded the rear pan and put in GTO taillights on the rear gull wing..THAT is modded

I'd really love a poll with the age of folks blacking out the chrome, I'm 47 and dont mind the chrome, is it a youth thing?

 

Was the van white and did it have free candy painted on the sides?

 

Never heard of it ever being mentioned, but here. I know a lot of Tacoma owners and they think of them as practical not show pieces. Personally I like a truck with some personality no matter your tastes.

 

I'm legit curious, I see folks doing their best to delete every single bit of chrome, just don't get it...Mine's a truck, but I like my daily to look nice.
