In his defense I like to cook also. My wife has 6 things she likes cooking. After 37 years I got bored with the 6 things…So I don’t mind doing the cooking or the grocery shopping. Just don’t ask me to do the dishes haha. It’s a fair trade…right?

Remains to be seen I bought the tires and wheels the rest came along
The best is burnt on the outside still frozen in the center.

Having Food in a Freezer was a very new concept after no longer being able to get ice for the ice box.

The idea of defrosting was very foreign.

One time, I put chicken in the crockpot with bbq sauce……
    So far so good, right?
Anyway, I served up his plate and he wanted second helping…..
At this point, I’m thinking I’m a flippin rock star :headbang:…..
    I strut into the kitchen…..
Think John Travolta in Stayin Alive
I dish him up more and put the pot back….
As I walk away, no strutting here, hot crockpot, I hear him saying, “WTF IS THAT??” As he’s spitting something out and gagging….
I thought he was a bit dramatic here:facepalm:
He then said, “You bbq’d the blood pad!!”
Who knew you weren’t supposed to chuck it all in the pot :notsure:
    ooooops :anonymous:

Well now…hmm…I kind of threw up a little in my mouth when I read that…but…I guess it could have been worse…maybe…you could have baked it in the oven while it was still sitting in the nice little tray they gave you at the super market…no…that might have been better hahaha

The first time I had my father in law over for supper, I fed him bloody chicken legs…. He finally said, “I can’t eat this!”

I was thinking…. What’s with the men in this family and their picky pants attitude about eating, idk if I can live like this!!
