The overnight low was 55 and the weather guessers are saying the sun is going to be turned on today up to 63 or so.
I checked the calendar - it is indeed Nov 7, I'm starting the day with tea and an onion & cheese omelet, life is good

 

I actually picked up a turtle and took it off the road Nov 3rd. It was great. 71f in a couple of days here, it's nice to do leaves in a t shirt and shorts.

Downsides, box elder and chinese ladybugs.

Our leaves have been falling but no where near done. Some trees are bare, some are giving a good fight to not let go.

We had a lot of leaves still on the trees until Saturday night, the wind howled all evening. Sunday morning there wasn't a leaf on a tree as far as I can see -- there were 10" of leaves in my yard however.

 

Cole and I have been fighting them for a few weeks. Can't tell it now as we had some wind and rain yesterday.

 

99.5% of our leaves are down and there's rumblings of the 4 letter s-word later this week.

The high today is 35.

18 feels like 8 right now.

 

I saw a car on the side of the road in an odd place this morning and the drivers side was tore up and the air bag was out. No other cars around. Then I saw a dead deer on the opposite side of the road about 50 yards the other way. I turned around to make sure the driver was okay, when I was walking up to the car another lady had stopped and was checking on them. Luckily they were okay but what a way to start the week.

 

79° for the high here today

 

This is exactly why we're going to Florida for Christmas again.
