Adding a bedrack and an RTT will add back the weight you need to balance the traction out.

I found my latches! Not the bushings or the limit cables but the cables are cheap from rock auto. Looks like a truck again!

Looks like it's barely squatting too! Your license plate has seen better days lol

I've enjoyed the cooler weather here this weekend. Wheeled green truck yesterday and then took the van up the river last night to disconnect.

It was the first time out since de-overlanding the truck. Just a spare tire, a pair of pliers and a cooler of beer. The green trucks incredibly capable. I took some "dumb" lines trying to get it to sweat, but it didn't. Supercharger+ rev limiter is fun in the dirt.

House should have power this week. Maybe gas and heat next week. Dry walled in. Going well.

And I picked up a new fluf friend.

    Meet Padfoot.

Rescue from one of the reservations here. Mutt mix, mostly border collie. Hoping he'll be a bit smaller than Ollie.

He is cute! Congrats! My bro got a dog that looked like that earlier this year but found out with time that he is more of a mastiff breed and much much bigger than a collie. Probably gonna be Venice size eventually.

In other news I got another AMG. :spy: this one's upgraded to 540hp (previous was "only" 450hp). A few quirks to sort out but overall this one's in better condition than my last one.

Nice to see FRV hauling something other than a green Tacoma. :boink: j/k

House sounds like it's coming along nicely. Post up some pics!

We just got back from SE Oregon, exploring around. 16° the first night, then snowed on us the next (but was ~28°, so much more pleasant). Forecast the final night was for sustained 45-50mph winds with rain and gusts to 65. Bailed on that, hahaha.

Just happened to stumble on some petroglyphs and a hot spring that we had no idea we'd see, as well as a couple old WWII plane crashes and half a dozen old homestead ruins. Pretty fun trip.

Moar house pics. Inside. Of progress. :D It's looking great though. Very nicely situated on the lot from that first photo of it behind FRV.

Does the hay mean that there are horses on the property already? For some reason, I thought you two were waiting on that for the house being done.

We are starting a kitchen remodel. First step is building the cabinets, so that once demo starts, everything can be back together as quickly as possible (still probably months, given everything else we have going on). Had 60 sheets of prefinished maple ply delivered, and now cutting them up into (what feels like) billions of pieces. It's really just 275 pieces though.
