Installed the MESO V2 fuse cover and washed all the desert off the truck from last weekend's adventure. Also added some weather stripping on the B pillars to hopefully get rid of the small amount of wind noise the truck has from there.

Obligatory pic that shows a clean truck but none of the changes I made:

This post is worthless, even though it has pics

Seriously though, MESO stuff is pretty high quality. We just partnered up with them to sell on Chrome Stoppers and Stew gave us a sample pack. It's some pretty sweet stuff!

    Lol.

Been pretty happy with everything MESO makes except their AC rings. The fit and finish there was not up to my standards at all. Very happy with their other products though.

Just confirming you’re talking about the AC vent rings? I was thinking about replacing my AJT AC vent rings with meso…

That’s definitely what he is talking about. They are in there but there is nothing that locks them in place.

I thought they had tabs that locks them in place?

Yes. They don't fit flush with the 2 vents on the driver side that have different thicknesses. I understand that they made them this way because it was simpler, but each vent needs a unique ring and I could not handle the gaps. The AJT rings are hideous though, I would take the MESO's over those. I ended up stripping the chrome off of my stock ones, painting and reinstalling. This gave the cleanest look.

From what I remember when I installed mine, these teeth didn’t have a lot of grab.

Cool. Thanks! I got the AJT’s long before the MESO’s came out so I don’t see the chrome reflections when I use the side mirrors.

After install of extractor pipes was there any issues ? How did the install of the extractor pipes go for you? The stock down tubes is the only thing I have done to my truck. Only cats I have left are the stock dump tubes. I did the urd mrkII crossover ypipe and have catback exhaust

    The list is growing.
While waiting for the flange fix I was contemplating going to the dealer and see what they think of the non oem flanges that have completely rusted out. They sold it to me with a warranty that covers the exhaust. But it’s not leaking yet. Just a matter of time.

When you say wind noise from the b-pillar, is it a barely audible (but audible enough to be annoying because once you notice it, you can never un-notice it) high frequency whine/whistle? My wife refuses to believe me it's there, thinks I have dog hearing, tinnitus (I do, but this isn't that) or something. Haven't yet started to track down where it's coming from, was hoping you might have done the heavy lifting for me.

    Edit to add on-topic content:

Installed the nifty 3D Spidermax Kugu floor liner things.
