I can finally join the thread! Earlier today, I purchased this new '22 Tacoma Access Cab 4x4 with a 2.7L engine. I initially wanted the V6, but after finding this truck and taking it on an overnight test drive, I found the four banger will fit my needs fine. After seven years, I'm excited to be in a Tacoma again!

Wow! That tire weighs 58 pounds! That's 22 pounds per tire more than the ATs I have on my SR. That has to be noticeable in power loss and gas mileage...bigtime!

It's not too noticeable with 5.29's and LCE header

Installed two protective mods this week. Weathertech mud flaps and Toyota door sill guards. Since Toyota doesn't have a factory option for SR mud flaps, the Weathertech flaps seemed like the best option. I'm very happy with the fit and look. The door sill guards went on easily enough and will hopefully protect the paint. Now to figure out what the next thing will be.

Looks good! I put on WeatherTech flaps soon after purchasing my SR in July of 2020 and have had no issues.

Looks like it here.. My son has the Off Road Bezels, the OEM ones were $7 each. I paid $25 each for the SR5 ones... it's a subtle detail that wasn't really worth 3x the price.

thats weird. the new 2020 offroads have the same bezels as we do, but my old 2017 offroad had the square bezel. this is dissapointing because i ordered the OEM square ones and ddint realize it.

Think that 1 left I had in the OP was the one I sent you for replacement haha. Should probably update that..

I think i may have enough material to make one more though. Let me get back to you after work.

That'd be for sure the last one left though. If anyone else is interested I'd have to do a group buy so i can import connectors in bulk to bring costs down
