1st Gen Lunchtable Thread - General Discussion

Never been in an f150. But I think the 1500 has it over most all full size as far as exterior goes. I'd like to drive one at some point though

 

Camping after a night of tornado warnings and thunderstorms comes with the cost of spending the next day cutting up downed trees. We traveled 2 miles in 4 hours. I lost track of the number of trees that we cut up.

 

When I had my 3rd gen, I was so over it and disappointed that I started jeep hunting. I was like a bad day at work or a beer or two from dropping 67k on a 4 dr diesel. If they had a white one over snazzleberry i prob would have one and would be hanging from my bedpost.

 

Possibly the La Sal Mtns back there, hard to tell, looks like the jeep is on slickrock so that's what I'd expect.

Lol. I hate Jeep people but I'm shamelessly attracted to 2 door JLs. I dunno why. Just push the logic outta your brain. And you can order a Gobi tan one right now.

I learned recently that it's common practice in the Jeep crowd to not only do the Jeep wave to each other, but to flip someone off of they don't wave back. They are a special breed.

 

lol if you go on Jeep forum or the FB groups people will post huge rants about how rude it was someone didn't do the jeep wave back

 

That's so fucking infuriating. I wouldn't want to be friends with like 98% of those people, but I think having a little short wheelbase hard top Jeep here at the beach would be a lot of fun. I wouldn't wave to a single one of em. Maybe a 2 door Bronco would be better but wonder how long until they invent some dumb greeting

 

Today I've booted MX, Manjaro, Endevour, KDE Neon, Kubuntu, Mint (mate and cinnamon) and Debian linux to try.

There's a female Jeep owner in my little burb that flips me off each we pass on the road. I didn't think my 23 yo SUV was so offensive.

Also, I wonder at what point in history Jeep owners turned into these kinda people.
