Very nice. That is what I'm doing as soon as Toyo offers the 275s in SL. I'm hearing a 265/75/17 is possibly coming.

I’m running 265 / 70 / 17 Falken Wildpeaks at3w on my stock / no lift 2022 TRD off road. You think I will rub if I jump into 275 70 17 Falkens on stock?

It depends a lot on your wheel width and offset. What wheels do you have?

it probably will a little bit -nothing serious .... guy online(youtube) did it to his taco and 4runner with 275 k02s -same wheels "sema" trd 4runner wheels ... he said 4runner didn't rub but the taco did slightly ... he said there was some minor cutting .... just make sure to do alignment and fix the caster .... my research show most likely you will be fine .... u will lose the mud-flaps

I run the TRD pro Sema Wheels with 275-70-17 Falken wp at3w and they do not rub at all. But I also have a TRD lift kit which I don't think actually changes anything, just makes it look better. Also use oem mud flaps

If ur running stock +25mm offset wheels, yes you will rub

Lift height doesn’t affect rubbing if it is a true lift. Full articulation is still achieved with a proper lift, so clearance is still what it is stock when the wheel is stuffed. A spacer lift will limit wheel travel up into the wheel well and can prevent rubbing.

I do not have a spacer lift, but do have a 1.5” lift via new springs. As stated above, this has no effect on rubbing.

Lift just changes the starting point of your suspension, it still cycles the same way as stock. That’s if we are talking IFS of course.

the part where u said "lift doesn't effect rub" -u can read that, right? ... lift plus caster alignment effects rub -cant comprehend how u would think it wouldn't...

A proper lift does not affect total wheel travel, so if you rub at stock height, you will rub just the same when the wheel is stuffed up into the wheel well (when turned ect). If you change other things, then sure. But a lift alone, if NOT a travel-limiting spacer lift, will not prevent rubbing.

Just had RRW RR2-V’s in 17x8.5 +0 with 275/70R17 Nitto Ridge Grapplers installed today. I have the Eibach Pro struts installed in the front set at 1”. So far I’m super happy with the setup, no rubbing at full lock in forward or reverse even into the driveway. I’ll grab some better pictures later on.
