Definitely gonna look into this down the road if it’s possible, mine is a 5 speed and tho I dig the look of the two shifter setup it just seems like the dials only purpose is user friendliness.

Installed BAMF shackle hangers. At the same time replaced my leaf spring bushings with dobinson's greasable poly bushings and their greasable bolts. Replaced a few leaf spring isolated pads while I was at it. Don't feel a huge difference in rear stiffness, but happy everything is silent again.

Installed new driveshaft. Didn’t realize how bad my driveshaft was effecting the ride comfort until I changed it. Night and day difference. Also got the truck realigned. . Will have to shave cv cups down to take advantage. Truck also sits about level not maybe a slight rake. Pretty happy with how the truck is now. Drives so much better.

Not today, but last week. DIY oil change. I have done this before but this time, I failed to notice the build up of drain plug washers. They were stuck to the lower pan and I failed to see them "in the dark". And I failed to noticed them during the other oil changes. Maybe 4 or 5 of them. Funny, right? Well - while tightening the drain plug, I over torqued and stripped/cross-threaded the plug. As I removed the plug, all of the crush washers fell off. What an idiot. But - nothing some humility and some money couldn't fix. New lower oil pan and drain plug. Considering a Fumoto, but that is on another TW thread. The best lessons in life are the tough/very painful ones - you never forget those. OK - let the TW trolls start trolling. I am looking forward to some interesting memes and gifs.

Good on ya for being able to laugh at yourself.

I looked and don't see your Fumoto thread, so commenting here. Do eet. Absolute no brainer and makes oil changes even easier than they usually are on these 2.5's. I went with this version. allows you to position the flow where you like, low profile. 3 years and 90K. Perfection.

that's a cool design. I'm not sure I buy the 'better' idea....I'd agree with 'cool other'. For a fleet where maintenance is nearly daily and the tool is in constant use, I can see it.
You need additional accessories to utilize it. If you lose/temporarily misplace the attachment, how do you drain the oil?

Why go lower profile when I already have to destroy the frame crossmember by a 1/2" to get to the Fumoto?

It has been the best mod to the truck yet, after getting sick of fighting with the electronic transfer case i picked up a low
    IMG_7546 (1).HEIC.jpg
Just completed my FJ case swap recently I really wish I did it a long time ago instead of fighting all of the 4wd issues like I was before! its really a pretty easy process if your a little handy and have a couple of extra hands around.

I never lost it so not an issue for me lol. It is capped when your not using it as well so no crud gets in there. I put the tool in same spot. every time before and after use. I pretty sure there is a puch valve that you could release with a screw driver if you had to change oil or just remove attachment all together like stock. I like the design better.

I agree it's tight. Super clean and very low profile. I've got 4 bikes and 4 cars I maintain...I'd likely be that guy....

to the point...there's options to dropping a bolt with a crush washer every 5k! Pick one!

The SB cold air intake after 3 fillips has increased airflow to the engine allowing increased horsepower and Miles per Gallon and of course the induction noise
