Just not enough Torch use .

I was passable when I cut every day

I worked with some you would have sworn it was cut with a track burner.

You joke though, but that's a legitimate strategy. A couple of 18-24" ground screws with a strap thrown over your roof will help control the upheave.

From what I could tell from what the nurse told my wife, arthritis on C5, but that’s in my neck, not lower back, and something else. I’m calling back in the morning to hear it first hand and get all results. After I get a screw out of my tire and tire patched. Had to stop today to get a nail removed, but it hadn’t punctured. Tires are less than 6 months old. When it rains, it pours!

Curious, what's the lowest temp you've experienced up there?

When we first moved above the Notches in NH back in the early 2000s, we would get cold snaps in the -40 F range, sometimes dipping below overnight. Haven't seen those lows in years though. Maybe -20 - -25 occasionally but that's the exception.

The truck makes all sorts of weird noises at those temps. The trees pop, too.

Just too entrenched here between properties and the stuff.

The population density isn't bad here and the cost of living isn't too high either.

I thought that would have something with that.

There is just no way I could even think of moving I would need to sell the complete package .

I spent my life collecting this stuff up with the intention of enjoying it during retirement.

If I can get a few major "must do" items off the list I might just get a chance to do it.

Luckily my source is in Maryland so I don't have to pay that extra taxes. Filled up the truck in MD today for $3.49 whereas it's $4.15 here in town o_O

What I have worked for all my life is a place to:
    1) putter with my stuff
    2) listen to my music
    3) be left the hell alone...

Unfortunately making a buck violates #3.

I spent my entire working life helping/waiting on/compensating for people.

I work way too slow and don't want any customers.

your method is what I used to tell all my customers. If there’s no gas in it, it can’t go bad. But I’ve also seen ethanol fuel go bad in a matter of a month, it really depends on the amount stored and the climate.

It's not a water jet, with the heat discoloration on the edge. I imagine it's probably been cut with a laser.
Coldest I ever experienced was -37°.
