It's like saying I have a dream screwdriver or fountain pen. It's a necessary evil for my line of work. Dings, scratches and dents are inevitable, it's going to happen if you use it for what it is intended. It matters not whether its the first day, the first week or the first year, it's gonna happen. Just drive it and move on.

Nope, sales. Until the last 2 years on the road 5 days a week. It's a tool, pure and simple. No pent up aggression, just tired of people whining. It's a scratch, either fix it or dont.

    *UPDATE*
If you believe that Turtle Wax Scratch Repair and Renew will not eat through your clear coat, I am here to prove you wrong. LOL! Took it to a body shop today. The spot can be fixed and the paint feathered in, but the whole tailgate will have to be clear coated again. Around a $500 lesson that some things are just better left alone. Kind of sucks in the first week of ownership, but I intend on keeping it a long time so I might as well have it fixed. Thanks for the input from everyone.

When my truck was 2 weeks old my left quarter panel got scratched by a guy lane splitting on his motorcycle. It’s an awful feeling on a brand new vehicle. Body shop blended it just like new. Your on the right track

I know. It sucks. The thing is that it is just a vehicle. Much more important things to focus on in life. Getting it fixed, so hard lesson learned. Oh, well.
