I have 117 miles to go in my initial break in and 600 mile service. There is the last track day of the year on the 19th outside Charlotte but I cannot get ready in time. Break in sucks.

This thread is also making me miss my XL650. Lot of dual fun being had.

The AT is alive and well.

aired tires up to 31, per @spencermarkd specs, little over 3675 miles now. Need an oil change, because it feels kinda rough when i ride. Could be other factors though

Winter is here, so riding is slowing down. Going to start saving for the $1100 slip on that i want.. :bananadead:

11 days is plenty of time to ride 117 miles and get the service done. You can do 117 miles in one day and still have 10 days to do the service. Get to riding!:bikewheelie2:

I don’t have leathers and bikes not safety wired. I wish I could. I want to see what it can really do. I did triple digits recently (will not say where due to rules) but I was over 7k in revs and got worried about break in. I was thinking about heading up anyway to check out the track and see if any track bikes for sale.

You shouldn’t need to safety wire for a track day. Are you 6’3 and skinny? I have a leather suit collecting dust.

I already did my yearly wash lol. I gotta order oil and chain cleaner. But at the same time I might just let it sit over winter and order that stuff closer to spring

i appreciate the offer. 5’11 and bulky thru chest and shoulders. My Joe Rocket mesh is 2xl and fits nice up top, have the waist tightened all the way. I am going to look for sales over the holidays. I am not sure about safety wire. If I get put in intermediate class they want oil plug, filter, etc wired at minimum. Been long time since I raced and had a card

Its my friends bike. He traded his KLR for it.
Heres my family photo. I've since added matching baja designs fogs to the bike (and put my passenger wheel back on too)
