Any mid to long term review of Ironman Foam Cell Pro lift kit

Like title states looking for some quick reviews Pro/Con on the Ironman Foam Cell Pro kit. TIA

I have 20,000 miles on mine and have tackled Moab and the Alpine Loop/Black Bear Pass with no issues. Shocks never got hot (yes I stopped and checked many times) and the truck handles very well. I took my sway bar off as well and can't tell any more body roll but have much better articulation. They use shit ball joints in their UCA's so recommend replacing them as soon as you get the arms with

I’ve had them on for about 2 years now but only 11k miles and really like them. I did swap from the B spring to the A, if you look at part numbers or 820 to 720# spring.

@hyrule_trd they recommended the heavy coil spring with the extra constant load of 110-120lbs winch bumper. Said I should still maintain 2” or a bit more up front. That sound about right?

 

It should be fine, I would thing. What size/rating tires do you have? I’ve got load E tires and wanted the ride a little softer, swapping the springs worked for me. I didn’t have the weight in the front like you will, so I’d guess it’ll be ok. Supposedly the stock coils on our trucks is about 720# as tested by @Toytec Lifts a while back.

 

I’ll be looking to buy SL/Passenger rated tires. No rock climbing just forestry service roads while hunting etc… mainly DD and looks.

 

The 255s look great but mostly only in e ratings… sounds like you’ll be fine.

 

I've had the Stage 2 kit on mine now for 45k miles and I like it a lot. I got the heavy springs front and rear and took one leaf out of the rears shortly after install. The back was just too high and too stiff with the full pack. The truck still sat a bit ass high so I adjusted the fronts up a bit to almost level it out. The front is a bit firmer than I prefer now on drops but it's still pretty good. The rear is excellent. I have a front winch/bumper, skids, sliders, GFC camper, etc. Fully loaded with the Mrs, the dog and me we're sitting right at 6970lbs. It's not setup for high speed desert romps but long trips and some rock crawling is right up it's alley. For the money they're hard to beat, especially if you catch them on sale which they constantly do. Good luck and let me know if you have any questions.
