My truck was totaled out by insurance back in June of this year; just now getting some spare time to list parts for sale and this S/C is first up.

The truck was totaled due to repair costs exceeding the value of the truck... heckin' sucks :'(

I'll add a pic of the 'damage' but basically my front bumper was attached to the frame and bent upwards and that was then documented as a "bent frame."

This S/C was rebuilt by Jon Bond Performance in Jan 2021. It was installed in August of 2021, truck was totaled in June 2022 so it had 10 months of moderate use. When installed on the truck, the odo read 327K, and when totaled the odo read 334K. The taco wasn't a dedicated daily and shared driving duties with my S4.

    The SC will come with:
    Grey TRD SC
    All installation instructions
    Jon Bond rebuild invoice
    2.2 URD pulley
    Dynamic Tensioner with URD pulley
    Nose cone support bracket
    Dipstick relocation hardware
    (1) Toyota factory intake manifold gasket
    TXS Knock Light
PLX EGT sensor module (does not include sensor)
Magnuson SC install kit (has both Manual and Auto trans throttle cable brackets)
--only thing i pulled out of the install kit is the auto trans cable bracket (mounted to the SC)

I can also include the bearings and rotor that were replaced in the rebuild if you'd like them, but they're honestly just trash/paper weights.

Asking price is $3,250 shipped OBO

Thank you. If I still had my truck... i'd never get rid of this thing. It was nice to have and it's time to let someone else enjoy it.

Also, for anyone interested, I will be covering transaction fees (such as the paypal 3%) and the cost to ship.

Is anything else needed for it to run smooth?

Just a smooth driver, HA! but seriously though, some people like to upgrade their fuel pump but i never had any ping issues with the stock pump. Upgraded fuel pump is about $100, and again, definitely something you can do after the fact if you feel that your truck needs it.

I know for a fact that they are carb legal and I believe you can still get a CARB sticker for them too.

I’ve received a few offers through PMs so even though this thread is slow, my inbox isn’t.

I need it off my garage shelf more than I need the money tbh. Hell, it’s been sitting there since June.

i wasnt implying that it wouldnt sell, just saying it might not sell in three days. if this was a year ago it would have been gone within 15 minutes of posting. I wasnt trying to imply that u needed the money or that you wouldnt get your asking price, just that things move slower now a days.

Definitely understand that perspective. It was even the same with houses! I remember looking at a few and people were shelling out 30-50k over asking just to secure a home that had multiple offers. I was lucky(?) enough to sell one last year and had 14 offers in 24hrs.

basically if it was a material asset of any kind… off the shelf in a day. 2021 was wild.

    Thanks man.

my wife hates that it was totaled too, not because she loved it, but because it’s been almost six months and I still haven’t shut up about how much I miss it. HA.

I know the feeling. On Halloween some dads came by with their kids trick or treating and we got to talking about my truck and she said “I think you love that truck more than me.” Had to fight the urge to say well the truck never tells me to turn the AC off because it’s too cold in here, lol.

If you’re looking to find a replacement Tacoma I hope you find another good one.

I bought a Ram Rebel to replace the Taco. Just doesn't feel right though... its too... soft. I feel like i'm a passenger even when i'm in the driver's seat.

If i were to build another Toyota again, it'd be an early 90's SR5 extra cab pickup. I built one before that i swapped a 3.4 into it and it absolutely ripped. Solid truck too. But i actually think i'm going to start looking hard for a 70's - 80's Porsche. It's always been a goal of mine to build one, so i might as well start.
