On a trd offroad if you add the trd premium package you get heated seats, dynamic navigation, auto headlights premium sound, Toyota connect and maybe a few other little things. The part I can’t get a clear answer on is this package is different with double cab and access cab. On double cab you get leather seats, moon roof , and jbl audio,
However with me buying a access cab the seats are still cloth but heated my preference anyway. No moon roof again my preference. It just says premium sound but not jbl so what exactly is the difference ?? No one seems to know.
Is the head unit the same or different ? Just different speakers ?
So the real question is on a access cab what does this package get you besides heated seats, auto head lights, and dynamic navigation?

Do yourself a favor and just get the cheaper trd offroad option.. Toyotas “premium packages” aren’t worth it. If you want heated seats and leather your better to go that katskin option, and do the sound upgrades urself

    Oh look, another mod....

There are 8 "Premium Off-Road Packages" for the TRD OR-Access Cab model:

These are the details of all of them, starting on the far left.

Honestly just wanted the heated seats and auto headlights out of it. Could care less about the dynamic navigation because it had apple car play anyway so I’ll have navigation through that. I do like that the access cab is cloth no matter what because I don’t wAnt leather. I was just skeptical of aftermarket heated seats

Access cabs do not get: Leather, Sunroofs or JBL stereo's; and you can only get the AC in longbed. That's the main differences between those and other model configurations.

    Wow!

    You're a helpful option presenter!!!

I think the least expensive package would be my choice.

The important thing is, A "Skewp" was on my Tacoma.

So what’s premium audio mean on the access cab then since it doesn’t come with jbl stereo ? That’s what I can’t figure out

The Entune base is just a 6 speaker setup attached to the head-display. The premium adds better speakers a sub/amp/crossover. In my TRD OR Double Cab, there there is a subwoofer stuffed behind the backseat on the passenger side. Since you have an access cab, there is no place to put one, so you don't get the JBL system.

I have compared my truck to others without JBL, and I have a louder system with deeper bass. It is like night & day.

You can upgrade the speakers for under $300 to achieve the same sound quality.

Thank you that’s what I was trying to figure out I know you don’t get the sub with a access cab I was just trying to figure if it still came with the same headunit just different speakers. In which case yes I would get the regular abs buy as set of good aftermarket speakers to upgrade it

To me at least, the single greatest advantage to having the factory NAV is you don't need to constantly plug and unplug your phone from the car; just leave it in your pocket, or for some folks, on the Qi wireless charger pad. Maybe I'm just lazy, but I find it so much easier to press the voice button on the steering wheel and say, "find Grand Central Station, New York, New York" and let it fuss with the rest of the details.

Actually, unless things have improved greatly, the dealership you might want to work with is the one that is likely to have an allocation of a unit with options you value. You should be flexible. From my experience going into this - initially I thought you could configure the unit to your preferences. That was silly of me. The car manufacturing paradigm is not what it was pre-COVID. When I went looking, there was nothing on the lots. I went into one dealership, and there was no one in there, and I waited maybe 20min before anyone even acknowledged my presence. So my wife and I getting a schooling in realities, we called another dealership, and I indicated we were flexible on color, but it should be a short bed, we weren't interested in access cab, but had to have the tech package that included blind spot monitoring. They matched these requirements with a unit allocated to them, and in 2months we had the truck.

im flexible in the fact i will take some other bs add ons that i can take off and sell like tube steps bed cover other stuff like that that i don't want but i def do want lunar rock access cab and i do want the led headlights I'm just debating about that premium package that i thought i initially wanted. I have a deposit at a dealer for almost 2 months now and no allocation even yet with that being said there is one coming to a dealer a little further away that is basically what i want except it doesn't have the premium plus package of options just debating if i wanna go snag that or just wait it out for my original wants

Regarding the tonneau cover, I didn't want one with my Tacoma as I was planning on an aftermarket unit, however, when it came in with one from the factory I was okay with it. I don't think the factory unit is as good looking as some of the aftermarket ones, but it is nice and rugged; today I was moving some furniture for my son (his 1995 F-150 with the 8' bed just wasn't enough for his stuff) and needed to remove the tonneau cover for the first time, yeah, kind of a pain, and really a two person job, but the factory unit is growing on me.

Forgive me. Is that even something you can build on their website? I mean it looks to me that if you want [Lunar Rock, and Access Cab], then you are forced into TRD Pro 3.5 A/T, with 6' bed, and the options pkgs are minimal.

Try the "build it site". Are you building a "unicorn"?
