Dark housings are fine. You can't have a tinted lens. Lens must be clear/red otherwise you're reducing light output. Frosted or tinted tails are also a liability. Someone rear ends you they can claim they didn't see your tail lights as they were tinted etc.

One thing is for sure. The led license plate lights are like spot lights lol.

Superwinch was a CT company until they were bought by Westin a few years ago. They moved the company to California.

 

Heard a khk khk khk type sound when turning fully on the taco to go around a car blocking an intersection. Sounded like in the front, possibly passenger.

Any thoughts?

My friend's brother long ago installed the CHMSL (3rd brake light) in his 1983 Oldsmobile Delta 88 and was failed for it in this state, despite the fact that they were mandated to come on all new vehicles starting in 1986. Gotta love it.

Generally but I almost had that one backfire. That said it was for a concert ticket/hotel room so it wasn't like I could return it.

Meh. Take the sales tax off and it's 200 and change. I think NH is the only state w/o the car sales tax. When I bought one from a MA dealer when I lived in NH, they had to drive it up to the NH border to deliver it, otherwise I would have had to pay the MA tax.

 

I agree and see your point, time to order some fun stuff for my truck, plus i can always switch out my tail lights right before inspection time, then switch them back and play stupid if i get pulled over , officer the inspection shop let them go.

 

Do they make colored lights too so they are brighter all around like the amber and red
