I say shoot what you like. Guns are like trucks, knives, optics, watches, guitars, flashlights, etc. Everyone is gonna like something different, and that’s perfectly ok.

    Same crap everyone else got
The Vortex AMG uh-1 is made in the USA with a hologram built in the UK. I know you have reservations about it but I just wanted to make sure you were not implying it was a Chinese made optic.

Get an EXPS3. Having own both Eotech and the Vortex Huey. The Eotech is much better looking. Skip any optic made by Sig.

Anyone running a low power prism optic? I’m in the market and have been looking on the YTs but I’m looking for some honest no bs opinions on them.

Have a vortec prism, the eye relief is kind of a pain, but not a problem on a low recoil 556.

3-4x yes. IMO a 1x prism is unnecessary. Just use a regular reflex.

I got the Swampfox 1x prism for my wife. I like it she's got a horrible astigmatism and that one works best for her. So far seems like a solid optic wouldn't be my first choice for one of mine unless I get astigmatism too
