Older cars could make snow out of the air conditioner vents if the conditions were right.

2 out of 4 of my Tacoma tires are patched from the inside. :ohsnap: I'm planning on purchasing a new set soon though as I need a better all terrain.

Pump shaft that had the bearing run without oil.
Looks like it got so hot that it bent too
The two grooves are where the labyrinth seal from the bearing housing.
Those couple of guys that worked under engineering department (predictive/preventive maintenance) had many state of the art tools like thermal cameras and vibration analysis equipment. We still do take vibes on stuff but no one to monitor equipment like those two did. They're both retired now.20221109_214421.jpg

Nothing in Fargo (at least nothing I care about) is closed but schools on both sides of us (West Fargo and Moorhead) are either closed or virtual learning today.

I still have an hour but it's not looking good for a 4 day weekend.

    Eww.

You're absolutely right! The Snow button on the Highlander is the bees knees. I don't know if it changes how the power is distributed to the wheels, but the way it changes the revs and shift points is awesome!

I hope everyone has a great day!

Looking at the forecast, looks like Nicole’s remnants will give me a narrow window of opportunity to close out major painting ops this Friday! Unseasonable temps and dry In the morning. Time’ll tell.

I hope all in the South don’t get too slammed by the storm:fingerscrossed:.

Made 10 of these last week from A2 tool steel. Sent them to be heat treated. Just got them back and the holes are out of tolerance. They are supposed to be .251”-.252” so I reamed them with a .250” reamer. This is the same hole on on both sides. How does this even happen?
