Those look pretty protective, I like that they use hard inserts for the knuckle sliders rather than soft/none like a lot of gloves. That said, they look like full gauntlets to me? At least based off how low they go from the wrist. Could be the pic throwing me off though.

As for not making it to the track...I think you earned an exception/leeway lol

Yup they’re full gauntlet, Brian Vann from STG says he wears them on the track. I was gonna get the Astars SP-1 gloves but was recommended these that are better and less expensive.

Lol thanks man… I’ll get there at some point, hopefully you’ll be ready for spring!

Oh whoops I misunderstood your initial post and thought you were implying they weren't lol. Cost? I only have one pair of gauntlets, and definitely splurged. Would be nice to have a decent backup pair. And I love the red/white/black color scheme haha.

Yeah I figure I'll be ready. It's already eating at me that I'm pushing it off a few more months lol.

No worries man they were $125 w/free shipping, might be able to find them cheaper. I wanted the yellow but they were sold out. And splurging on gear isn’t a bad thing in my opinion lol

You’re gonna have a blast at the track it will be worth the wait!

Do it! I kinda want to take my Bolt, even though it’s slow with minimal ground clearance still fun to rail it through turns

I'm sure you can but you'll probably add 25 pounds to it with all the safety wire it's going to take.:crapstorm:

I'm really digging new the middleweight offerings. I hope they all make it to America

I'd be happy with any of those 3. If the Transalp makes it to us, I'm gonna look at them(along with the T7 and V-Strom....although it's pushing the limit of weight I'd want) when they start popping up on the used market. I have no plans of getting rid of the little Rally. It's the perfect bike for trails.

Hell of a deal, with kangaroo leather too! That means I'm gonna have to ship to a friend first because CA doesn't like to recycle certain animals.

I've owned YZ's and CR's. I'm past that kind of riding  Although, there is nothing like the sound of a 2-stroke
I should have said it's the perfect bike for pansy trails

I'd like to try a Beta x-trainer though.

I screwed up last night, didn’t take the light mount that I had mocked up off of the light bar and it fell off, spent $84 on the pair :annoyed:
So today I ordered another pair of light mounts and said “screw it, can’t have too much light” and ordered a set of Amber fogs, so I’ll have factory dogs, aftermarket dogs, and aftermarket driving lights on my bike as well as the standard headlight.

I need to get some winter gloves as the temps are starting to be more in the 50’s and might dip to the 40’s soon.
I also need to get some over pants because my jeans are cold with it being in the high 50’s.

So does that mean I should put the BD S1s on my bike too?

Installed my new Shorai battery last night. It’s about 5lbs lighter than the stock one. Bike fired right up. It was nice to hear her again after almost a month. Also installed a carbon rear hugger that I had sitting around after the clear started to fail. I had it re-cleared to match the OEM matte carbon. Turned out perfect!

Interesting, does CA accept goats? That's the other leather I was seeing a lot of in gear

My amber Denali D2 lights were delivered today. Might work on installing this weekend. I'm done spending money for a while lol
