Mine are the exact same way. They contact the wheel well. Not a big deal. I bent the brackets slightly. I can get all my clamps on no problem so not sure what’s stopping yours

The reservoir is at an angle in the bracket with a gap at the top. I can’t lower the reservoir anymore and can’t push it in any further at the top. The clamp is too short.

I have a set of energy radiator bushings coming Thursday. If that doesn’t get me the clearance, I’m going to have to grind/cut off a little of the bent support rib on the reservoir holder so I can drop the reservoir lower.

Just worried about damaging the reservoir in between now and then - They’re mounted to the rigid frame and coming in contact with the wheel well which flexes with the body on bumps.

I have had a good experience with my Kings they have held up pretty well ..took a long time to brake in and are pretty stiff in the colder months.

    Hello,
How does the updated design compare to your modified Tundra rear King shock? I didn't see specifications listed.
    Thanks!

Updated design is still equal to what was the -EXT. The Tundra converted shock we sell still has more shock travel.

Extended travel with 650 coils, modified tundra rears, 3 leaf add a leaf. It’s settled a little since then. About 23.5” hub to fender front and 24” rear. 295/70r17’s, -25 offset.

Yes. With and without adjusters are in stock. They would ship once we get them tuned.

What would be the main reason for the rear end to “buck” ?
I don’t know the correct term but what I’m trying to describe is that, when I go off-roading @30-35mph and hit a small bump or dip the rear end “jumps”. The front is able to handle it but the rear is not, I can hear all the loose stuff inside the bed flying over and hitting the bed again.
My set-up is 12” kings 2.0s with adjusters(accutuned), icon rxt leaf pack, hammer hangers and archive garage bumpstops. The shock relocation was installed properly by cycling the axle to make sure the shocks don’t bottom out before the bumpstops.
Right now I have the adjuster all the way open but even with the adjusters closed all the way I can’t really tell a difference.
Are this the limitations of going with 2.0s instead of the 2.5s?

Trucks in general tend to do that unloaded with heavy duty leaf packs, however I would still like to get you in touch with our sales team to review your setup so we can rule out some things. Please send over a message and we can take a closer look

you will have to do some more “testing” to tell what is causing the buck. Does it happen because you are hitting the bump stops? Are the shocks valved too stiff so the suspension is slow to react when it hits the bump? After you bottom out is the truck rebounding off the bump stops too fast? I would get a buddy to video tape you going over something that causes what you are describing as it may show more than what you can express in words. If you have a GoPro it may be worth setting it up to record the rear shocks and axle movement.

this is actually a very good idea, I’ll try to record a video to get a better understanding of what’s happening. I don’t think the suspension is too stiff since I went with the softest valving accutune offers.
I’m guessing that if the shocks rebound too fast this means I would need a stiffer valving? To help control the speed at which the leaf springs travel?
