Ya me either. I sometimes get sketched out when paying people without getting shipping confirmation first, but you can usually tell if things seem a bit off.
But ya FB is by far the worst. CL is a close second for me. Had a good amount of email bot scams come through from there.
Why is T4R bad? I've had zero issue buying and selling on TW and I Can't imaging it being that different.

 

It just may be my luck but every time I try to buy something. The person responding is someone with 5 post and sending me a generic google picture of what I am looking for.

I would think that's just common knowledge, that you provide pictures of said item when selling used goods.

Can you measure the cab height relative to the bed rail? I'm trying to determine whether a 2nd-gen Softopper would sit above or below the roof line on a 1st gen.

These are the measurements I'm looking for: Height from Bed Rail to Cab Height

 

They must get away with enough to make it worth the time spent

 

I never thought of this before, but I wonder if some of them are just bored kids seeing what they can get away with. $25 and you get to ignore the teacher in class? Sounds like a delinquent win.

 

You got a good cruiser that runs. I had to borrow a pickup truck just to move a hoist the other day. It was pathetic.

Honestly haven't, and it's something I kind of planned to do a bit of after doing some homework.
