Looking forward to updating to 9.0 but just found out my local tuner moved to another state. Any eta on if another tuner will be in the San Antonio area or if San Antonio will be getting another local tuner?

i just had the kd max installed in Aug. Am i reading this correctly? My installer will install the new version of the kd max tune for free???

 

@BurntToast - Was your tune from my brother (from another mother) Chris P.? Msg me if you have a Windows 8 (or newer) laptop and and I'll get you setup with a loaner cable if that's an option. I just need to validate who tune you and we can take some steps towards v9 goodness!

Does anyone know how many tuners there are for the Denver area?

 

Who on here does these tunes in west Tennessee now? I got my KDMAX 6.0 tune with alternator charge increase to 14.4v by a guy named Quez I believe last year around October 2021 and reached out to him for the upgrade and he no longer does KDMAXX. He’s tuning for a totally different company now (OTT I believe he said) and I’d have to pay $250 for it which isn’t bad but I was under the impression you got a free upgrade included with initial purchase? I’d rather not switch it another tune bc I really love my KDmax but I’d like to get upgraded to the latest version

 

I’ll be in Hattiesburg MS at the Forrest General Hospital parking lot South end under the Oaks tomorrow for a KDMAX tune event. Time slots start at 0830 through 11:00 and then on to Philadelphia, MS arriving between 2-3 pm at Doc’s Toyota for tunes there.

I can probably catch one more at Hattiesburg or on the route north to Philadelphia taken Hwy’s 59 N to 20 W and then 15 N on into town.

2nd Gen here. Thanks for the update on the tune. I'm 100% stock and have been monitoring the threads for some time on reviews. Your probably the only person I've seen post who has a 2nd Gen and appreciate your update on the XT tune. Hopefully 9.0 takes care of your issues.

 

Just loaded 9.0 on my 20 Tacoma that was running XT. Same initial impressions as others are posting - really liking this version even better than XT!!! Great job KDMax. ANNNNNNDDDDD FREEEEEEEEE update to 9.0 from XT!!! Can't beat that!

 

I actually paid him online almost 2 weeks ago for a tune but haven’t heard from him nor can I get a hold of him after several attempts.

Just seeing if anyone else was out here to go that route instead
