Stupid bank holiday. My daytrade cash hasn’t settled. I’m probably going to avoid a lot of activity today although $NVDA & $SPY puts beckon like a siren’s song…draw me into the rocks…

 

Yep. I just put some cash in the play account. It usually clears right away but this deposit won't clear until TUES. Computers don't get holidays so this is beyond bullshit. On hold with E-Tarde so I can express my disapproval.

 

BBIG has a HUGE sell wall at $0.99.

 

I bought my $2 Jan 2025 call. Now to buy 19 more and sell the 1000 shares to pay for it. Stupid stock

This is hysterical. Volume on BBIG still under 750K. Price is going up because there's no liquidity in they need to let it run to get people to jump ship. lol

I'm still learning dude, I've considered it but to be perfectly honest, it scares me. I don't even know what I don't know yet.

Small account so I can learn. Been doing ok so far.

 

Don't let margin scare you as long as you use it correctly. I only use it so I don't have to wait for funds to settle. As soon as I sell that money is available immediately to re-invest. As long as you only trade with the amount of money in the account you're never borrowing on margin. Your just using it to get past T+2. Now, if you have $1K in the account and buy $2K worth of stock then your borrowing on margin. Don't do that unless you are 1000% certain you are correct in the way the stock will move.

 

I bought 20k of BBIG on margin, did I use it correctly?

 

If you bought yesterday. If you bought last year you'd already have been called on it.

 

My $RIG $4.50 calls were ITM for a bit today...Just need $6.50 to break even...
