I'm sorry - you are right. The Off-Road. What package were you wanting, and what package is on the vehicle that you know is allocated?

The only difference in AC OR I've seen since 2020 is Halogen headlights I think that's the base OR. LED headlights, with out parking sensors has the base chrome bumper. And LED headlights with rear parking sensors and painted bumper.

I have never looked for a RWD Access Cab Tacoma, but Toyota might build them.

I haven't seen an AC OR with halogen headlights in a while. I doubt if you'll see a base OR AC 3rd gen ever again. SR5 SX AC is almost the same price. Exludes Canada.

I was looking for led headlights and premium trd package but looks like most I can find all seem to have the tech package with the silly parking sonar…. But whatever might just have to deal with that being included as well.

The parking sonar may not be of interest to you - specially since there is the rear-facing camera, but perhaps you might find the Rear Crossing Traffic Alert function useful. Can't tell you how many times I've experienced people walking in the parking lot, not bothering to look where they are going, but rather, looking heads down to their smartphones. Or you might find the Blind Spot Monitoring of value.

If the unit you're looking at doesn't have the LED headlights and you have to have them, you could add them later. The point is, you might wait months for notification of an allocation, and then have to wait another month or two for it to be built and shipped.

Have you looked at or monitored this thread? Some people waited a year or more, and are now waiting on a 2023.

I didn't think I'd like/use the parking sonar; my Tacoma has it and it's really handy for backing into loading docks and such, something I've needed to do twice in the last two weeks.

That’s the route I took, and honestly, I kind of regret not shelling out a bit more for some creature comforts. Are they really not worth the price?

Agreed, I considered not opting for all of the goodies, I'm very glad I got all of the packages.

The tube steps have a benefit and a disadvantage? They lower the clearance, but protect the doors / underbody? I have a family of giraffes, and we're coming from a lifted sprinter van, so the help climbing in and out isn't required.
