They did install the gasket material between the bed rails and cap. Maybe that’s thicker than yours…I hadn’t thought of that figuring it was just a standard foam tape

I would see if they give you an extended powertrain warranty or buy one before the factory one ends

Yeah I call every year and do the dance with them, always end up with $6.06 tax & fees included. Back in may just 2 weeks after doing the dance I got a coupon in the mail for same $6.06 deal for 2 years, sweet, so called them & they switched it no problem. So now hopefully I can get the same deal and only have to dance every 2 years.

Will not upgrade my h/u with something that looks like I velcroed a tablet to my dash. On an aside, autocorrect does not like me using velcroed. Patent and trademark internet cops, they'll be coming for me next. Why can't autocorrect fix random periods when typing by thumb?

Thanks! I have a decal cutter, so I just made them myself. They’re all 9” wide and then just whatever the proportional height came out to be.

Finally pulled the trigger on a bed cover, went with the Tyger T1. It's currently doing okay in its first rainstorm, just some very light leaking in the back, might add a little weather-stripping where there's a small gap between the cover and closed tailgate. I mostly got it to keep prying eyes out of my bed and to keep the bed snow-free. Overall pretty happy with it for the price and ease of install.

Woohoo!! My 6 month trial was about to end next month so I called SiriusXM, and was able to get 3 years of SiriusXM “Music and Entertainment package” for $99!!!

For $2.75/month before taxes/fees, Can’t beat that!!! I really only listen to 80’s on 8 and 90’s on 9 so this is perfect for me.

Here is the link for anyone interested.

For the moment I am the newest member of the 3rd Gen club. But I kept the 1st Gen, it’s kinda like being a Boomer and a Millennial at the same time… I think?

In 2004 I got their lifetime subscription, it was $400. The only time I ever have to deal with them is when I need to transfer to a different vehicle.

Mine doesn’t by choice. Thankfully, streaming services are capable of being just music that isn't interspersed with information I don't need at the precise moment I don't want it. You could sprinkle podcasts in and get that same jarring feeling of music and talk if you wanted though I guess...
The same as music, I'm capable of getting information I actually want, on demand and when I want it.
Some people grew up on radio and want a similar experience without ads which is fine. The idea of paying to not have control over what you're listening to is just weird to me.

Nope. They said that, but I just kept pushing and they ended up giving it to me.
