If you can find it, this Bachan Japanese BBQ sauce is legit. Wife says it’s the closest thing to teriyaki she’s had since her diagnosis

Edit: country style pork ribs (actually pork shoulder cut to look like ribs..) marinated in sriracha, the bbq sauce, and garlic then braised for an hour in a 300 oven before grilled to finish and basted

I did see the gluten free option not long ago, but I didn’t look into their cross contamination protocols.

IKEA has tons of gluten free snacks in their cafe, but the packaging states it was still produced in a factory with wheat, soy, nuts, etc.

    :annoyed:

I get these at Costco for my grandson who has Celiac. He ate them like mad then has gone kind of cold on them but that's how he is with most foods.

Brazi bites has pizza bites now, too. Haven't tried them yet but they're in the fridge. Can't be any worse than normal bulk pizza rolls haha

recommendations for home made GF pasta dough? thinking of trying to make my own ravioli
also, anyone with a kitchenaid mixer - are the pasta attachments worth the price?

I’ve had the mixer with pretty much everything for years. Kinda shared double duty with the bread maker. I was on #4 when they diagnosed me. I’ve always used the hand crank cutters for pasta. The ravioli attachment works pretty good too. Just old school I guess.

I was able to locate gluten free Arborio rice so we can have all of the risottos. All of them. Every single one.

It’s warm, bowl shaped foods season :amen:

I've never made risotto before but I've been using a lot of black rice for various things lately... google says it'll work too. Way better taste than white or brown and way healthier too.

I can get a batch finished up in an hour from chopping the ingredients to plate, but it is labor intensive.

I have never used black rice and we find gf brown rice in bulk, so that’s my standard.

I'm curious to see the results. Get on it!

There’s as many ways to make it as there are places in Italy. First couple times were failures. Think I’m gettin’ somewhere now. When I’m in doubt just add Bacon & call ‘er good.
