Yeah. It’s rather tall, somehow makes it look more like I actually know what I’m doing.

I started w a 40 mixed for mig then went to a 60. It lasts a long ass time for me at 25cfm mig welding. Like months. But, the argon for tig is a diff story. You burn through that shit in a day.

Yeah I usually run it at 20 or 21, so this should be a good long run. Quite happy for only $83.

How much is a bottle of argon? Been wanting to get into tig but waiting till I’ve got some projects done.

20-25 seems the same to me w mig.

Tig is a diff story. I have two 120lb argon bottles. One always filled and ready cause w backpurging it burns through it in like a night. I would like to run at 30 cfm with 15 cfm backpurge but I would go through a 120 in 8-10 big joints.

I think its 70 from the expensive place that is open on sat and the cheap place i think was 52 for the 120.

You should def do some tig. Its such hype that it is hard. Mig is 4x harder to perfect imo. Watch a few vids and you'll be good.

Thanks! It's stupid clear on the roads yet people still drive like idiots :frusty:

And Biscuit just isn't used to long ass rides so no biggie. Bet she's going to hate the cold. I know Bronx doesn't like it having a bad back and all.

Yeah people forget how to drive on 50. They go into vacation mode where nothing else matters but then.

There's a fat boy that walked by me; this guy's wife took off into the hotel lobby while her husband and I just watched it walk by us.

Apparently a bear lives near this hotel and it gathers food from the nearby garbage cans overfill.

Are you in the area I told you about? There is a lot of trash pandas around over there.

I read these as though they were two different scenarios, one about some poor fat kid and another about a bear

    Yep!

Again it was a FAT one, but it just walked on by ignoring us. Typical black bears.

I'll shoot you a text in a bit.
