    Awesome movie, enjoy!
Read these later if you want, they are trivia but spoilers just the same.
The light pole was not planned, that was a genuine accident, the Cadillac driver was off mark. They worked hours to get the suspension fixed.
They were only planning to hit the first 2 cars at the Cadillac dealership, Halicki ended up paying for all of the cars in that line.

Add to that; utility knives. Fortunately for me though, after employer banned them and made spring loaded rounded end knives available, I took a good amount of them home with me. About 99% of the knives I made off with were missing the push button to change the blade. Many people, unaware what that button is for, take the thing apart to change blade and button is lost. I made new buttons for one I have now.

Work kind of giving me a night to coast it seems.
I have plenty of things to do though and if I don't do something then won't make 12.5 hours...fall asleep.
Today marks 42 days of shutdown so night shift and 12.5 hour days for 48 days.

The removal of the inflammation will help. The nsaid will help. Just depends which one works for you. I always had good luck with diclofenad sodium ( voltaren) haven’t tried the cream rub yet. Then there is Motrin, aliiev, ibuprofen. Pt helps a lot , but I have now had 2 back surgeries and so far doing much better, first one lasted me 15 years. Second one was 3 years ago and knock on wood doing good .

That's a horrible idea. What time?
If anyone's interested, I watched a Netflix documentary on Creedence Clearwater Revival today. Good back story and a previously unreleased concert at the Royal Albert Hall in England.

I didn't know that they were nipping at the heels of the Beetles for a few years.

Couple of pictures of a outage job this cycle. I won't know if I'm a hero or a zero until they put near 1,000 pounds of steam to it. My dayshift counterparts said they're was nothing they could do..
I made a lap tool and shined it up like proverbial diamond :rofl:cordless 12v drill motor and found some papers for other equipment that fit perfect. This plate is called a balance shot cover. It's access port where they can screw weights in to balance the rotor. High pressure turbine. It was steam cut from prior leak.20221111_204635.jpg 20221111_211525.jpg

Agree wholeheartedly… I have a Halliburton Zero briefcase that was a gift from a prior job. When I began having trouble with work some years ago, I put all my personal belongings in it for travel back and forth to work. When asked, I would say that I was playing “Deal or No Deal” about my job… and I was ready to go if tested. It’s a great feeling and empowering.

No one is irreplaceable, it’s all a matter of money and effort.

It always amazes me when I see people with a days worth of packing for all their personal crap they have at work.

Happy Saturday all :hattip: It’s one of those weekends where I need to keep reminding myself yesterday was Friday..

New poll. We are staying home and smoking a turkey for thanksgiving. Invited my parents, they said they can’t come. Invited my in-laws, they said they’d let us know……which means if someone else invites them they won’t be coming

Being transplants here, going home involves a nine hour road trip. I have a good friend at work and our wives have also become good friends. So when we're not working, We tend to get together on holidays. Nice having and "extended family" 500 miles from your own.

    Re: new poll.

We moved about 3 hours away from the rest of the family. We soon learned 3 hours is not far enough away to claim its too far of a drive. When both sets of our parents moved on to the great beyond, we stopped making the trip and started our own Thanksgiving tradition- get the Turkey in the oven, take the dogs on a two hour hike, come home, eat while being grateful we’re able to do what we do.

In years past, we’ve tried to break in to help with the community but found things rather cliquey.
