A little disappointed. Tried to install gentex mirror on the corolla but the neck was too short. Did get the dashcam and gps power hardwired.

 

Added some Redline Fuel System Cleaner to the Yaris earlier this week. I didn't think it could run much smoother, but it really made a difference.

I noticed that the Corolla maintenance schedule includes Toyota fuel system cleaner every oil change. Wondering if it's because of the direct/port injection.

I tried some in the Tacoma and 4runner today.

 

Bulbs replaced 1/2020.

I told myself, "no modding the WRX" but here I am with a Crutchfield Audio cart, ready to click "purchase"....

 

I had to make a new rule this week: no purchases before I get out of bed in the morning.
I spent 2 bills before my feet touched the ground.
Really it just makes me get up earlier

 

Troubleshooting slight vibration at low speed 10-20mph.
Symptoms started after leaf spring and hanger installation.
Symptoms are much more noticeable when cold.

Installed AP carrier bearing drop.
No change.

 

prop shaft greasy enough?

 

I would say yes.

 

Hmm. That always seemed to solve my low speed vibes, also leaf pack shims. Whats your pinion angle difference?

I'll look at geometry next. I was hoping for a cheap and easy silver bullet.

I'll try axle shims next.

It's really not bad, and it goes away after I drive for a while. Kind of a weird problem. More than anything, it's just a challenge and a reason to get wrenches out.

Tom Woods would fix it, but I don't want to buy an expensive driveshaft without installing a crawl box 1st.

I'm going down an expensive rabbit hole.

3 degree toytech axle shims fixed my low speed driveline vibration

 

Remark exhaust, GGP motor mount, fluid film and window vent visors installed today on the Corolla
And I retorqued all of the rear suspension bolts on the Tacoma.

 

Solid motor mounts or still rubber? What hardness

 

Polyurethane bushing. Much harder than the stock rubber rear mount.
There's noticeably more engine feel in the cabin

Pretty tame. Much better than stock. I'm glad to be rid of the fake tips
