Your Dream Tacoma Color?

Dakar Yellow, Laguna Seca Blue, Artic Silver

 

I disagree. Toyota/Lexus is equal to if not ahead. Check out this structural blue color they developed. It’s more than just paint. The reflection of this color is in the light is like no other.

I’ll never forget the first time I saw a third gen Tacoma. It was in that Desert Sand (unsure of the real name) color.

We were down at Edisto Beach, they were backing in their boat and I just thought.. damn, I’d love to have that truck. At the time, I was driving a Dodge Dart… so, realistically I’d have liked anything other than the Dart lol. Seriously though, I love that color on that truck!

I ended up getting a silver one, and I love it too! However, that desert color is my favorite.

Years ago I test drove a S3 in Navarra Blue. Another gorgeous blue to add to the list

 

I like my Tacomas tan.

 

I’m partial to my army green but there are a lot of awesome colors that you can’t go wrong with. Quicksand, inferno, cement, lunar rock, Calvary blue and the list goes on. If you are buying a Tacoma the chances are you are getting a badass truck with a badass color. The solar octane looks awesome too abd I can’t wait to see it in person.

I have never bought a Toyota in a color I wanted. it has always been what’s available at the time.

The closest I came was my 1983 FJ60 which was beige, but that was a hand me down.

 

Wouldn't choose anything over my Army Green. I've wanted a green vehicle my whole life but always just got what was available. Finally got my green truck. Very pleased with it.

 

When I heard Toyota was doing a green one again I was all excited. They had imperial jade and spruce mica sitting on the shelf yet somehow we ended up with electric utility box green. I got a silver truck.

 

The state environmental workers, and game wardens have army green trucks here.

 

I've always liked the Quicksand but i got what was available at the time.
I suppose i would settle for an ugly Olive drab and mount a plow blade on the front.

I'm talking about paint that you can actually buy on production vehicles. Toyota paint is junk, and mostly unimaginative. If you want nice paint from the factory, you have to go European.

 

Always wanted a green truck with orange accents. So far so good!

 

Royal Sapphire Pearl:



There were about 30 Supras in this color total, between two model years, sold in the US.

 

I'm jumping on the Spruce Mica boat. Went in looking for something like that.

I really liked the Rainforest Green from the Colorado.

Wound up with Wind Chill Pearl(very happy with it). The dealer and I thought it was bog standard white. Was that or black, silver or MGM inbound. The three colours I told them I absolutely would not go for.

The WCP looks good dirty.

I still like Pyrite Mica. Ford Stone Gray, and Chevy Brown Stone metalics are also good colors. Something exciting like Ford Avalanche, might look good on a Tacoma.
