Pyrite mica might be the best color ever produced by Toyota

 

Oh! I made a tiny one! Love that colour.

Shop foreman has a 2nd gen I believe is a similar colour. It's so old beat and dirty... lol

For Tacoma colors Cav Blue is sweet and obviously partial to LR.

Agreed about the European colors. My Audi is Deep Sea Blue Blue Pearl - looks deep blue in the sunshine and black at night. Back Cherry would also be a sweet color

 

I held out and got what I wanted in model & colour. Best part is they stopped making my Quicksand. Value just went way up!!!!!

 

I have always enjoyed anthracite, I saw it on a Mercedes. The newer colors have definitely been a throwback from the old land cruiser colors, which I am a big fan of.
Currently own a Cement taco and Calvary 4runner.
I would have to say that blue is hard to beat, even next to the cement.
These are my current rides…as you can see they are pretty much all flat colors.

I had a satin black wrap that came on a 2nd gen I bought. Loved it when it was clean, hated it when I had to get the sap off!

 

Wanted and ordered a Lunar Rock TRD Off Rd but couldn't wait for an allocation. Settled for a MGM that I love.

Spruce Green Mica I think was the name of the color on the 2nd gens. Love to have my 3rd gen in that color.

 

Burnt orange.

 

Maroon or Burgundy with the retro fender decals

 

Cavalry Blue...I think best Taco color ever. They could easily bring it back since it's still available on other Toyota vehicles. A darker Army Green and 1st gen Red would be cool too.

 

Don’t understand why the Toyota colors differ from vehicle model, but the Lunar Rock for the RAV4 is more of a grey tone and it’s more flat and I just love it. Wish I could have that on my Tacoma.

 

Calvary blue..... absolutely love that color, seems Toyota has gone backwards with blues as Calvary Blue > Voodoo Blue > Cool Blue?? (of whatever the new purple-ish) one is called. To go the polar opposite from my truck I would go crazy with a color like this: my goal sometime when I am old and rich is have to a plain truck and a crazy colored sportscar, I think a Porsche would suit me

 

Porsche has some really neat factory color options. I just wish their oem paint wasn't full of orange peel. For $150k+ Porsche could do better.
