No kids here and I fucking love my NB's. Was headed to Vegas about 10 years ago and needed a good pair of walking shoes. Found some NB's in the sale bin for $25 and was sold from there.

I also have wide feet and they are one of the few manufacturers that offer not just wide, but extra wide shoes. Sooooo comfortable. NB is also expanding to other markets (i.e. skating, golf etc). I bought some NB golf shoes last year and they are awesome.

Well, old hose was hard as fuck like plastic so that caused sealing issues. Not to mention the clamp wasn't doing shit either on such a hose -

    20221112_075825.jpg

Old hose. Someone's cut the end off already hence why it's flared out.

    20221112_112935.jpg

Mud member came out with not only a new hose, but also some clamps and Toyota coolant.

    20221112_112913.jpg

The issue now is the need for a new radiator. The nipple for the coolant bypass hose is almost intact; it's broken in a 45 degree angle so really there's only a small portion at the bottom that the hose goes over.

New hose and clamp is holding up a lot better but I'll need a clamp close to the radiator end so I can drive around for the meanwhile.

Having an internal fight on whether or not I want to pull the engine and full harness or just leave the harness in the bay and pull the engine. Also can't decide if I want to pull the trans. I've only ever pulled these engines out of scrap trucks so this is all a new thought process.

Always leave harness on motor. On 3.4 I pull t case and leave trans on too. 10x easier.

Whats the easiest way to clear the core support with the trans attached? I'm guessing I need to get the front of the truck lowered on jack stands. I'm just going to pull the trans and stop whining :bananadead:

Dude in the 1st gen marketplace listed a drivetrain that has something over 290K for $2300. He never actually states mileage at all.

I swapped engines weekly at one of my old jobs,

leave the harness on the engine taking it out, take it off out of the car, put it on out of the car, connect the few things left to do once installed

Unless transverse the trans comes off before pulling the engine

I mean, if they let me pull the oil pan and look at a couple bearings I'd be down

Yeah that’s the plan now. I’m dropping the trans as well. Screw figuring out clearance altogether.

When i pulled the 3.4 out of my Tacoma I pulled it with the trans and tcase attached

Even after cutting the core support and aprons it was a challenge

Yeah I’ve pulled two from parts trucks like that. I’m not cutting up my 04 no matter what.
