    Not much stock left.
Looks like a decent amount of snow. Nice.

Hi! I have had the same experience. I am a truck driver myself, so I understand what you are going through – trapped in a small cabin amidst a chaotic atmosphere, with your nervous system (including your spine) bombarded by constant stress and tension. In the summer, my back pain comes in waves. It's extremely painful, but I can't afford to stop – because my pay is based on how many miles, I drive each day. The best way to get rid of the pain and prevent it from happening is to see a physiotherapist. They'll be able to advise you on the best way to help your back stay strong. If you don't have the funds for a physio, I'd advise you to doing certain exercises to strengthen your back. But after I received physiotherapy for a couple of months, my back pain disappeared. Now, I feel better and drive further on the roads.

Mud on the tires for the first time today. Took the truck up to the White Mountains National Forrest to look for dispersed camping sites and run up and down a few FS roads. Along the way while going over Pinkaham notch, we saw the most vivid rainbow. It looked like we were right under it and you could see it coming down in front of the trees to the left. It is said there is a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow? Close...

Ended up finding a cool site and have pinned it for a return near Jericho State ATV park.

Just added toolbox and roof-rack to haul my fishing boat 100's of miles into the backwoods every week. Goodrich K02s, Bilstein 5100 front and back, no lift.
Ah, we brag about our exploits in the snow with our 4x4s.

Here is the Kootenay region of BC in the 1930-1950s.

The one pic is the #17 bus heading to Kaslo. There may be delays on the route, be sure to wear your mitts as you wait at the stop.

These photos come from the Highways BC Region 3 Facebook Group and Lost Kootenays Archives.

I'd def do it when things cool off. Temps were in the 60s-70s for the highs, and in the 40s at night. I went super minimalist and slept in an OR bivy tent with my nemo disco 15 sleeping bag, nemo roamer air mattress, and sweats. I kept my bivy wide open, and found that to be pretty comfortable. Reminded me of sleeping under the stars during the FEX in MCT. Speaking of stars, you can see millions of them out there, even with a mostly full moon. Highly recommended trail. Here's what my sleeping setup looked like.

Very. Even the parts that people were calling "hairy" were pretty chill compared to most of the wheeling I do with my buddies on the weekends... I know there's an overlanding vs wheeling joke in there somewhere lol. Just be prepared to deal with a lot of sand and reduced visibility from dust if you do it in a group. There were times we all had to slow way down just because visibility was non-existent and no one wanted to cause an accident. If you want the .gpx files of our intended route vs actual route (due to a jeep totally shitting the bed at the start of day 2) just let me know and I'll send them to you.

I’ve got a Eureka! Bivy type tent that stays in my truck. I like your style sir.

Bivy sack in the truck bed is where its at.

I am usually sitting on the tailgate drinking a beer before my buddies have even unpacked their tents
