I need a new battery for my Tacoma. I tried a AGM from Walmart and after a year it's no good.
I just purchased a new charger that has a specific node for AGM batteries. It started to charge it then shut down and bad battery light illuminate.
I kind of wondering if internet chatter here on TW was correct about our trucks not charging them sufficient. I want badly to throw the BS Flag on that though..my brother had a 80's something Volvo and the Optima in that thing lasted 15 years! Unbelievable but maybe more mild Oregon weather helped too.

    Been there, done that.
I told her “You look like my third wife”
She said “Third? How many times have you been married?”
    I said “Twice”
When she learned I owned a trailer park, well, they don’t make enough penicillin…

If it's an old church like mine (I was active on the board of trustees for a little while) it's a lot of money to maintain, heat and cool every year. Our church is over 120 years old. Our upper balcony pews are from the 1890s as they are stamped with the year. The basement still has some of the hand laid brick foundation that's original but most of the foundation is cement as they had to raise the church many many years ago when they raised the streets so part of the old part of the church is underground. Our roof just needed to be replaced and that was I think over 100k, the interior needs to be repainted which will be in the 20k's, our radio equipment needed to be updated which was a couple grand, kitchen got renovated last year which was an arm and a leg due to the asbestos removal and our organ needed a full rebuild a few years ago which was I think in the 70k's. On top of all our normal expenses we donate some of our money to missionarys and such.

For a small traditional church like ours with an aging congregation we don't bring in a ton so we have to save up.

The aging congregation needs to leave their money to the church like they used to. They will be doing a great service to their family cuz now they won’t fight over the money they are all sure they deserve more than the others.

I see nothing wrong with that so long as it wasn't one of those rejuvenate units that sell for $30.00
This AGM wasn't all that much more expensive than the regular everstart max, and I've had those last 5 years or longer.
4 year free replacement so I'll give it another try unless they don't have one in the store then I'll take whatever.

The DieHard batteries are pretty good just dont buy them from Oriellys. My mechanic told me that one when mine went out. I got the DieHard Platinum.

To be fair, the truck doesn't get driven much and it's been in state of severe discharge a time or three:anonymous:
