I've had my Tacoma a little over two years now with 223,000 miles on it. First time I started having issues with it was about 6 months ago when I went to crank it and it would not stay running. I checked the air filter and it was dirty so I blew it out with an air compressor and put it back in and it started right up. I replaced the filter and did not have the same problem until about 3 weeks ago when I had about 12,000 miles on it since I had last changed the filter. I changed the air filter again and it cranked right up and had no issues until last night. I checked the air filter and it was still clean. I disconnected the fuel lines to check to make sure that the fuel pump was still working and looks like it was. After about 15-20 minutes it cranked up and I was able to drive it home with no problems. I changed the spark plugs this morning and hoping that solved the problem. Anyone else having this issue and could it possibly be the fuel pump going bad. Thanks

Is your security light next to the clock flashing with the key on when it won't start?
    Any codes?

I haven’t noticed any warning lights when trying to start and it hasn’t shown any codes

The security light is next to the clock, I'd want to check fuel pressure when it doesn't start.
Fuel pumps typically aren't intermittent, but there could be an electrical problem.
You can check connector IB1 (Above the left kick panel) for burnt pins as well, the fuel pump power pin Pin 8 (Black/Red) is known to lose connection there.
