Does anyone know if they are still in business? I put my order in Aug 13 for liners and have not had any confirmation from the company...I have left emails, messages here on TW and tried to phone which says number is not in service. I cant say I have ever had customer service this bad in all my 50+ years. Anyone know anything?

They technically should be. I ordered after you by 3 days. I’ve got nothing either.

Nope... the tracking didn't even update with a date yet. I emailed yesterday, hoping to hear back at some point on anything.

Just for anyone who cares, I still have not heard anything from the company and am actively going through mastercard to get my funds returned. I paid for these August 13. What a joke...

Sorry to hear you haven't gotten anything from them. I am honestly surprised at the lack of any communication. Including to myself as well. I did end up getting mine, later than anticipated, with tracking that did not update until it was to be delivered that day (requiring signature) but still no communication at all.

I was really wanting to get a set of these bc of slight rub I have at full turn with 33s but I just went with heat gun method instead after reading all this

:annoyed:I didn’t want to say negative things on his thread but seeing these recent posts on not getting anything back from the vendor has forced my hand…or maybe the two beers and double bulliet I just had has… Who knows….anyway, here we go.

I ordered a set of these fend x liners back in March or 2021 (yeah it’s been awhile).
After two months I didn’t get anything from this company. No updates, or reasons for delays, nothing.

I PM’d, then emailed, then called (left a voicemail). Nothing. After two more weeks of nothing (I gave ample time due to pandemic and hey, it’s a private business, sometimes people get busy or go on vacation), I finally disputed the charge with PayPal——which made me contact the vendor directly to try resolve the issue; nothing.

After a week or so I got refunded my payment (via PayPal) and I just went with a snorkel. Still hate the Dorkel but I didn’t have time or desire to battle the heat gun.

I even had pre-made tabs made in the fender anticipating fend-x fenders when my fenders were cut.

hope your orders came through, or come through. I personally know one guy on Tacomaworld who’ve I’ve wheeled with get the fend-x fenders and he had to mod it to make it work. But they work! He posted his input earlier in this thread. So he does get orders done, just sometimes goes MIA.

Super cool product; just wish he delivered. Snorkel FTL.

Thanks for the info. I’ll have to get mine installed and see how it goes. If it goes well, I’ll post an update with it.

    wanna be mods
So I ended up pulling back on placing an order last year...just happened to luck out with a guys unused set following his Taco being totaled. The install went pretty easy, I just have to do my cowl intake mod...his taco had a dorkle so no "vent" section on the passenger side.

I really have enjoyed the extra bit of clearance it's provided and they're holding up in place with just some 10mm flange neck screws that were used on it to begin with (I did add a few more though before I finished the painless install). https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/fend-x-wheel-liners.557518/page-7#post-27754117 here's the pictures I posted earlier this year.

P.S. I think the guy ended up with a significant delay in his order to product delivery, but don't recall just HOW long a delay it was.

Good morning TW! I hope all our Taco brothers and sisters rang in the New Year safe and sound. I’d like to clear the air on this specific thread, because it appears that I’ve gone MIA in regards to a couple comments above. Between Phone, Email, Live Chat, Website Messaging, IG, Facebook, TW (5 threads), and a few other forums. It can get challenging keeping up with all forms of contact 24/7, even more so it becomes difficult to keep track of responses when I received multiple messages through 10 different channels within a week and then end up speaking via phone. It’s a full time job just responding to emails and phone calls, and with that being said I don’t have any full time / part time employees. I am a small shop owner located in Evergreen, CO. Chasing the dream.

First, I’d like to say that all outstanding orders are within the 4-8 week window (Lead times are based on the product /configuration). Secondly, thank you to everyone who’s supported this cause. I’ve been on this journey for 5-6 years and I took on this adventure Full Time in 2020. Since conception, I’ve never stopped making products for the TW community. In fact, I’ve weathered some intense storms along the way. ie, broken leg, totaled truck and a ridiculous number of other setbacks. Look, I say all of this for one sole reason, and that reason is that I Have been and I will remain committed and dedicated to growing this company into one of the most renown Fabrication Shops for Toyota & Lexus. Third, I’d like to take another moment to just reiterate how much I appreciate all of you who have help support the dream. After nearly 6 years of straight knuckle busting struggles and triumphs, I’m stoked to report that I’ve reached a major milestone on this journey and I’m excited to share what will come from this with the TW community.

Capping off 2022, I was able to finally place my order for a 9x5’ plasma cutter that I’ve had my eye on for years!!

For anyone wondering, this addition will NOT automate the manufacturing process for my current products. ie, Splash Guards and FEND-X Liners. However, it WILL automate the manufacturing process of an entire catalog of new products I will be bringing to market in 2023. Also, this new addition in the shop will allow me to engineer the proper machine which WILL eventually allow me to automate the process for Splash Guards and FEND-X Liners. If you’d like to follow along, I’ll be posting a ton of new content on my geartechcustoms IG page this year as I embark on this new chapter.

This acquisition would not have been possible if it weren’t for the support I’ve received through this forum throughout the years. So again, just want to say thank you TW with all my heart. Look forward to seeing what 2023 brings for all of us!!

Lastly, here’s some eye candy I just finished up for a customer. Needless to say, this one is in the top 5 favorite builds. :mudding:

    Trimmed Fender gang :fistbump:

I get asked a lot about Logo options and Trimmed Fenders. The FEND-X Engraved Logo option comes standard on every set of FEND-X Liners. We also offer different backplate’d color options to stand out from the crowd. Custom logos such as your business logo, favorite sports team, etc. can also be opted to be engraved or backplate’d. (Shown above)

The FEND-X Liner Trimmed Fender configuration was redesigned over the new year 23’ and is a bolt-on product. I’ve taken all the guesswork out of the notorious “Fender Trim” and redesigned everything to not only line up with pre-existing holes in the inner wheel well so everything bolts right in, but these are now tapered with a slight kicker pass the flares which 1) provides additional coverage from rooster tails / overspray and 2) looks badass!

The real functional design behind the kickers: These kickers extend beyond the Trimmed Fender edge and cover the gap that is incurred between the Fender and the Flare once it’s been trimmed. Our L-brackets are the most common method of mounting along the Trimmed Fender edge since the Factory Lip and Liner mounting locations are deleted once the Fender is Trimmed. Hope this helps answer some of the lingering Q’s from the TW community. Happy trails TW Fam! Be smart out there and tread lighty! :mudding:

Another shout out to Cody @cnote4l and his FEND-X liners. Now on all 4 corners of my taco. Super happy with the fit n finish. Did the install in my driveway. If you’ve modified your wheel wells for bigger tires, these are your next mod. Close off all those holes that are gonna hide n hold mud.
