I've gotten codes for cam position retarded and advanced. I was gonna replace vvt solenoid to try an fix the codes. But not sure if the oil control valve is the same thing as cam position sensor?

The OCV and Cam Sensor (VVT sensor) are 2 different things.

What I was meaning I got a new cam position sensor, was going to get vvt and ocv but couldn't find ocv on rock auto. Vvt had the option with or without. Truck has 280000 miles so it's not gonna hurt to replace all while I'm in there

I wouldn't bother replacing the cam (VVT) sensors until they fail and only use OEM.

Rock Auto has the solenoids they are listed under Engien > VVT Solenoid/Actuator.

Cam (VVT) sensors are listed under Ignition > Camshaft Position Sensor.

Yea having both over advanced and over retarded codes at the same time is almost always the oil control valve sticking.
11 and 12 are for bank 1 which is passenger side.
