New Supra isn't a Toyota in my book, it's not and never will be imo. It's still a nice car it's just not a Toyota, and can't be a Supra.

    MR2s are cool.

Lexus IFA, Lexus IS 500F, Lexus RCF those are Toyotas. a BMW built in Germany isn't a Toyota.

    Edit

New Supra, is the better looking BMW Z4.

So many times I've had a WRX pull up next to me at a stoplight and when it goes green neither of us wants to be "that guy"
Close to 800hp combined and we both pull away like two 80 y.o. driving a Buick.

Sometimes when both know they are winners in their own right, there is no reason why to provoke. Just humbly respecting each other goes a lot further.

No reason to race on a public road.

Besides Nissan Altima is the fasting car on or offroad.

Also about the Supra not being a Toyota.

The vin number indicates that the car is not manufactured by Toyota Motor Corporation.

My money, my cars, my decision. Why do you care what others do with their vehicles?

Miatas are definitely dope. Very puritan, getting good lap times requires good technique. They got a bad rep in the US for being dainty.
The s2000 was one of the most badass sports cars brought here. >100hp per liter out of an NA engine. Priced VERY well for the performance. they were basically up-tuned miatas.

Rally requires a tooon of modification. I don’t think that’s super fair, unless you also think every pickup truck out there needs to be turned into a trophy truck. Which would be awesome

That's because they don't want to break the sports car they have to daily, because the Tacoma is sitting in the drive way torn apart being modified so it can be driven to the mall.

What's with those BMW drivers who pass everyone and get on the brakes in the turns? That 20yo chic in the Tahoe didn't even need to brake and passed ya.

Can you offer any feedback on Debold or Naples Eurosport?

I don't know Debold. I think you mean Naples Motorsports. They have a solid reputation.

Two years ago, they had a black 430 6 speed spider priced way below market. I showed up in the morning to buy it and someone else had scooped me.

I usually speak with Alex. If you would like an introduction, PM me.

Lol, it's snowing wet snow here right now. I'd be down there right now if I wasn't bumping into my days!

    It’s all good : )

My mall crawler is a work in progress, I considered many vehicles before purchasing, for the money & performance the 99 FRC vette came home with me.

We have not changed the control arm bushings for the 4th time this year and we don’t want to die by going over the turn too hot.

We have a lot of kids around here with the BRZ's, F86's, Civics, WRX's etc etc lowered with the tires sticking out the wheel wells, obscene amounts of negative camber, stickers galore. I guess you could call them "crawlers" because if they try to enter the mall lot any faster than a crawl they'd rip their diffusers and flares right off the car. To each their own I suppose.
Grew up on Vettes (still have my '72). Close family friend had a shop that specialized in them and I worked for him when I was young and in college. These guys would regularly track them (1/4 mile). Both he and his wife raced. Long hours in the shop after a night of racing lol. Now C1's and C2's seem to be favoured by the investors/collectors. The C3 crowd tends to like to modify and have fun with theirs (rare cars excepted). The C4's/5's are kind of the ugly step children but are performance bargains. The silver hairs like their C6's/7's (glory days without the muss and fuss). C8's? A GM copy of a Ferrari, at approaching Ferrari prices. A cool car but all those "super cars" are starting to look the same.
