Aha. Thats when you add a relay to the system. :cookiemonster:

Your trigger wire (#86) goes to your acc fuse-tap so that when the truck is started, your seats turn on. #87 goes to your seat switches, #30 goes to the battery.

That will run the seats how you want it and keep all of your stock circuits drawing stock current.

Anyone dealt with Clazzio CS lately?

Had an issue that was supposed to be covered by warranty, Clazzio confirmed they would ship out a replacement cover then haven't been able to get a response via email for over a month. Tried calling a few times but haven't gotten anyone on the phone.

Asked them an email question twice. The first one was quickly answered…the most recent one is taking awhile. They’re probably just busy…

I have essentially the same kit with the Toyota Style switches...they look OEM. I used an add-a-fuse to tap the inside fuse panel. As far as making sure that they don't drain your battery etc. find a fuse to tap that is only powered with the IGN in ON.

Looks good! Hopefully you have a sunny day and some warmer weather to soften them up. Although, I am guessing the leather might be more pliable than the PVC.....my fingers were so, so, so, sore.

I did them in the middle of Florida summer and they are a bitch ! Wouldn't want to try in the cold. My hands were wasted after the install but they look awesome

Same here! Southern California summer heat on our patio for like 4 hours and it was still like wrestling yourself in the dark installing them.....they look so good for 350 bucks (pleather version) though!

    Cool - Sweet install!

Mine came in about the same time as yours - ordered 5/22 though, over 20 weeks between order and receipt. Almost wonder if our sets of covers were on the same container ship (every time I checked mine the status was always "Container"). I went with the black and light grey - in the pictures the light grey looks almost white, but it is closer to the cement color than white. The install last weekend was challenging in the Michigan November weather. Luckily it was warmer than normal, but still a Michigan November day which made the covers stiffer than if they had been able to be out in the sun and warmed-up.

Nice! They look great Yeah every time i tracked mine it said production. Could be that they were on the same container as yours. 20 weeks that’s crazy!!
I actually got the notification they shipped from fedex before I got any word from clazzio (was like the day after) Then when i tracked on their site it said warehouse.
Ordered heated seat kit from ebay waiting on thst and have to wire that up.

Did you have any wrinkles on your kit? If you look @ my pic of the cover on the right side you can see one. I’m assuming that will deff come out once i install??

Remove both front seats. Patience. Enjoy the install then admire when done.

There were some fold marks / wrinkles coming out of the box, but with as tight as they fit (definitely a good thing), the indentations / wrinkles / creases all come out.

Absolutely second the approach of taking the front seats out completely or at least removing the four bolts that hold them down! There was no fricking way I was going to get under the front seats with my hands to get the straps and clips positioned correctly for the seat bottoms without the seats being fully unbolted. And, trying to get the tops of the front seats pulled all the way down near the center console without unbolting them is also tough.

The installation takes a while, requires some beer rests / cussing / hand wringing - but is definitely worth it in the end.

Did i do the arm rest install correct?
Or does the inside need to be tucked into the cracks of the inside of the console?

I know for 3rd Gens, the console cover just go over the armrest pad with Velcro inside/underneath. it was not tight/smooth enough for me so I hacked, removed the OEM cover, added 1/2” foam and tucked it inside the plastic underneath my console cover to make it look OEM.

If you did the standard black perforated, I would just leave the armrest cover off....it never sits right on the arm rest.

someone else posted to add 1/2" foam under the cover. i did this for my 2018. i first installed without the foam
and it looked like crap (like yours). the foam fixed it. i took off the cover and disassembled to work on a bench.
there are several pieces to the cover and all the tuck questions get answered when you reassemble.

edit: not sure it all applies to your 2010 but from the pics it looks like it does.

Yeah no velcro for this one. It slipped on easily. But when i open it doesn’t look neat like yours it’s just hanging as ya can see.
I saw someone else’s for a 2nd gen and atleast the match was fully exposed and not covered like mine.
Wonder if i have to trim? or if i just have to tuck all the excess material inside the cracks. Was also wondering if i have to dissemble the inside tuck the excess and screw it back together

That would be worth to try. If still loose, maybe add some foam...
