    Ditto - my exact observations after updating to 9.0 and finally getting some highway seat time to give cruise control a workout.

    Don't think twice, update to 9.0.

    I loaded the 9.0 tune last week and can say it’s by far the best tune I’ve had. The last KDMax tune I had was Pro, so I can’t say how this compares to the previous XT iteration. I had a tune from another company for the past several months and it was decent but the 9.0 takes it to another level. The throttle is great and shift points are spot on. Very happy with it on a mostly stock truck.


    Also, the customer service from PapaRee is outstanding. He takes the time to answer questions and make sure you are taken care of.

    Had a successful KDMAX Pro 9.0 Tune Day in Hattiesburg and Philadelphia, MS yesterday. Had seven customers in all (3 upgrades and 4 new customers) come out to get the new KDMAX Pro 9.0 tune. They all left very Happy!

    I’ve been running the Pro+XT for around 3 months & 3000 miles & thought it couldn’t get any better than this. I did notice the cruise control wasn’t as fine tuned as just using the pedal but it was way better than stock. @TacoTunesday told me about Pro 9.0 and I had to have it. Just did a 100 mile test drive today with rolling hills, flat & steep grades only using cruise control & it was simply AMAZING! The gear hunting is gone. I love this tune! This is by far the best mod I’ve done to the truck and I have a lot of them (thanks TW). Thank you @PapaRee & @TWTaco for the countless hours you guys put into these tunes for fellow Tacoma owners to enjoy. Also a big thank you to Tony with Western Slope Tuning for your professionalism, knowledge and for completely transforming my truck!

    I had been running the Pro+XT tune on my auto for a few months, and was really happy with its huge improvement over stock. So far, 9.0 feels like a refinement of XT. Everything is noticeably smoother.

    I’ve upgraded only 3 days ago and normally I’d wait a tankful to write a review but the 9.0 is just impressive. The 2 big things I immediately noticed is how the tune made the engine run smoother. I don't hear what I thought was normal ticks on the engine anymore. Its smooth at idle or normal loads. The next improvement was MPG. Im getting a half to a full mile/gal now. @PapaRee thank you very much. I appreciate your work on this tune. Absolute best costumer service is icing on top

    I recently updated to 9.0 from @C41n before a trip from Portland to Sunriver and man was I impressed.

    The shifting was better than previous tunes and the power from the throttle was almost instant on some uphills and when I went to pass other vehicles. My mpgs even saw a slight up tick (though I’m mostly stock).

    Overall very impressed with the tune and @C41n got it done quickly. Definitely reach out to him if you’re in the PNW. One of the best guys in our taco-mmunity here.

    One Mod after another
    Lovin the KDMAX-PRO-9.0. I updated from the XT PRO and the new tune is more refined and smoother. Shift points are definately raised. I enjoy the way my truck holds gears longer and keeps the truck from dogging along. Thanks guys for the constant improvements. It's hard to beat a free upgrade.
