I think that would be a great option also. ARE has a cap that is partially lined and I think it looks great! I know around here having linex do it is spendy. They wanted $1500 to do fender flares and kick panel on the outside of my last truck. I’m not sure what a canopy would be but it could cost as much as a new cap. A lot of it is the masking and prep, so if you had the windows out and everything masked it may be cheaper. I’m sure it will look great whatever route you go!

Thanks for the advice. I assume Raptor Liner is a consumer available version of Rhino? I will have to look it up.

Thanks. I will take my time and think it out. Sometacomadude suggested Rhino lining. That sounds like the way to go cost wise.
I will have to check that out.

I like the tail light but the truck beside the toy is a lot of fun.

Thank you. My Lightning is a blast for sure. Makes the Tacoma seem like an old VW bug in terms of acceleration. Kinda ready for something else fun, looking at CTS-V’s gen1.

Yeah the CTS would be fun but it’s a car. Lol trucks ain’t supposed to handle like the lightning. My brother bought one years ago and he isn’t a gear head. He bought it cause he liked the looks of it. I said I will be right there to drive it, afterwards he said oh crap I didn’t know…

The Noico sound deadening I ordered from Amazon arrived early so I spend a couple of hours doing this to the rear storage area of the double cab. Last week I installed a Rockville powered amp and wanted to cut down some of the vibrations.

Thanks for the photo and the product recommendation. That is exactly the look I want. It should be durable as well. I have the black wheel trim and it will match and tie it together. I watched a couple of videos. Looks pretty straight forward.

try crunchy peanut butter. i'm serious. i use peanut butter to get stuff off that you wouldn't think of. it's incredible how well it works for stuff like that. just get a glob of it on some folded up paper towels and rub it in to the sap over and over. it'll come off and won't hurt your paint one bit. i grew up watching my dad use it to get stickey stuff/sticker residue, paint, you name it, off of anything with peanut butter and i've done the same.

Just kind of funny thinking how this came to pass. You know there you are on the work bench with a gooey mess. No acetone, alcohol or wd 40. Just some leftover peanut butter and crackers and you figure “ fuck it”. Lmao

My Dad always called that a "ditch-box". (Or ditch-bag, depending on the container.) *Especially important in Midwest winter season.
