I would say it is much more of a Toyota Tercel sound.....

I bought some stuff last night to fix my exhaust. I've wanted a bedside exit for awhile so this is the perfect excuse to do it. I bought this bezel and tip from Dirt Skum.

    upload_2022-11-14_9-12-18.jpg

And then a bunch of misc tube off of Amazon as well as a muffler. Whatever tube I don't end up using I'll return. It'll be straight back off of the Y pipe but I'll have to snake it up and over the frame, hence all the different types of bends. I could have saved plenty of money and just welded on the muffler and had it dump but where's the fun in that?

Bedside exit exhaust for the win!

so, I’ve been considering the jd pivot kit for some time now. How far forward do you think the hubs can be pushed without issue? I believe The rclt kit moves the hub 2” forward, so im guessing thats probably the safe limit before there’s issue with the cv’s. Do you know anyone who’s moved theirs forward more than 2”’s

You didn't recommend a resonator? For shame!

The main issue will be tie rod clearance at your coilover. You can really only shove it all the way forward if you run their steering slide rack kit, which shoves the inner tie rod mounting kit forward too. Otherwise you won't be able to push it forward much at all. I believe there are guys on their LT (0.875" forward) and also shoved the whole LCA forward with the pivot kit. I don't think CV bind will be of concern for you.

I barely convinced myself to even put a muffler back on it. I don't hate the sound (yet) because I never drive it on road anymore.

That's good because I question the quality of most of those items. It'll probably get destroyed before the regret sets in.

How're you gonna question the quality of them based on that limited information? They're on par with the quality betty deserves. She's not getting anything nicer.

Because I've had to learn that lesson the hard way. Actually have to relearn it all the time. I'm not knocking it. It's perfect for your usage.
