That's what I'm hearing. Apparently I have to drill, so I'll let one of ya'll take this deal.

Have to drill, and they only have 2 legs to the frame. Not going to survive any substantial hit. I build mine with 4 legs to the frame and weld on only for people.

3/16 frame plates and 0.120 wall dom tubing. Although my personal ones are 1/4” everything just to be overkill lol

Can attest, the ones he builds are strong AF.

And those homemade 'sliders' are total garbage. Glad you decided to ask and not just rush out and buy.

You and a friend could simply pull up on them and bend them at the frame.

Just looked again, scratch the friend part. You could do it by yourself.

Ryan, when I get my work truck back, I'd like to have you build a set for my truck. I could drop it off at your place as it's a secondary vehicle for me.

Juan is hard to get ahold of as he doesn't TW anymore. I haven't even seen him on the INsta. I was shocked to see him a few months back at the whiskey barrel or whatever that place was called.

Yeah, we've all gotten busy with life it seems. We keep in touch and hang out often though. He still does side work here and there. sliders, bumpers, etc.

I used to be able to help. If you wanna do the work, I can assist or advise. Still recovering from back surgery, though, so no physical labor for me.

I feel great. I just don't have any strength. I'm not allowed to twist or lift at the moment. PT three times a week, but I'm not taking any pain pills. I'm actually sleeping at night too. Been married for 15 years, and the Mrs. said I started snoring after my surgery. That's been the only side-effect, but it doesn't bother me.
