We were predicted to have a massive emergence last sommer. I only heard them a couple times.

The last time I heard them, they were noisy as all get out and it lasted all summer.

 

They were super loud where I lived at the time. I actually kind of liked it, but I'm a weirdo. Not like you guys already didn't know that...

So was visting Mexico (step dads family) one of the cousins would tie a piece of thread around the body of one of the cicadas and let it fly around in circle the length of the thread...and i just watched in amazement

I bought some at The Mart last week - almost $4.

I try to stock up on the winter grade so I never get stuck using the summer stuff at all, I understand selling it in Florida but the northeast? - What am I supposed to do, siphon it out in the fall...
