Can you delete the load proportioning valve? Will it cause problems?

Why would you want to do that? You'll have to plug the extra line that runs back to master cylinder.

My rear brakes don’t work. I’m getting fluid to the valve but no rear brakes.

Have you bleed the rear brakes? Do you get fluid out of the bleeders when you bleed the rear brakes?

There are "delete" (I don't understand why people use delete rather than remove) write-ups if you search. It's also super cheap to get a non-oem new LSPV...

Basically, if you "delete" the lspv, your rear brakes are effectively static. I am not saying that's wrong. I cut the lspv arm off and created a way to mechanically adjust the valve. I don't tow, and very rarely do I carry things in the bed. so it makes sense for me. In my static configuration, I had to spend some time dialing in the valve.

Ultimately, I wouldn't recommend removing the valve. Just replace the valve and bleed your system correctly.

Rear brakes won't bleed unless trucks weight is on rear axle.
Rear lift installation requires raising actuator rod bracket same amount as lift for LSBPV to work

Remains to be seen I bought the tires and wheels the rest came along
It will always be a personal decision.

living in the Rust and Salt belt.

I have never had a LSPV that ever worked. Using dealer parts was very expensive.

The bleeder fittings would never move or just break.

Then till I received the truck they all were over 200,000 miles

I just installed a manual valve at the Master Cylinder ran a new line to the Tee in the rear . Plugged were needed .

    Adjustments were simple and quick.

This was before any after market valves were on the market to use that option .

Then I have driven Pick Up Trucks long before any brake valves one just drove according to conditions.
