Just enough to look kinda cool.
That 4Runner got in there pretty good, I think a set of boards and he would have got out himself.

Van was solid and warm! I did leave the furnace running all night and it kept the van around 65* all night. Only issue was the electrical draw pulled the batteries down to 12v by morning and the stove needs 12.4 to fire up and make coffee. Not a big deal but that requires starting the van so the alternator can charge up to proper voltage. But it was mod twenties and we were cozy! Throw in another blanket and it should be good down to single digits. The canyon was beautiful this morning too. A good short getaway.

Ps: much to my wife's amusement I got folded up and fell backwards in my chair after snapping the above picture

We even watched a movie (oceans 12). It made for an interesting conversation of are we really camping? To which I concluded, I don't care. Just because you aren't miserable doesn't mean it's not camping.

That is awesome it stayed 65 degrees M3, and I am in aggreement, just because you are not miserable doesn't mean your not camping haha
    !!!
Jenson, THANK YOU SO MUCH for suggesting the C.WHEELIN.CREW! I went out with them last night and there ended up being 19 vehicles haha
It was a great time with a great bunch of guys and gals!!!!
I do have one question that kind of had us all baffled. We dropped the air in my tires to about 16psi (that is what they suggested-I was going to say 20) but either way, tires were good until the last probably mile and a half when something felt off. I stopped and checked my PSI and the driver side tire was at 0. Got out to check it and sure as sh*t, my tire was completely flat. Put 16 psi back in it and drove to the end where we filled out tires up (about a mile or so). That last mile of driving on it, I didn't lose ANY air at all. So when Chris filled my tires, I had him fill them to 36psi and by the time I drove back home (in Nampa), it was reading 38 (got it..hot air expands), however, this morning my tire is completely full and reading 36 psi after sitting there all night.
Do you guys with more experience have any clue what could have caused that to happen? Maybe a small bead that popped itself back into place when we added air back into the tire? That is the only thing I could really think of with my limited experience?
Next time I hope to meet you guys! It was a blast and a few of them are wanting to get into "overlanding" and hitting trails but then camping to wherever we get to which is exciting because that is what I really want to do as well. Anyways, again, thank you for suggesting them bro!

Glad you had a good time! Sounds like you probably slipped a bead that reset itself, especially if you guys were playing in the snow.

I second Ben, probably just slipped a bead. But hey now you know you can go out with no pressure and still keep the wheel on (definitely don’t do it again) but that’s what minimal pressure feels like. Just keep an eye on it and if you feel any shaking or rattling like something is in your tire take it to a tire shop and have them pop the bead and see if anything is in there.

Well, I am glad you guys feel the same way. We were definitely in the snow and mud. If you would have asked me ANYTHING about a "bead" two days prior I would have thought you were talking Chinese to me but wanting to learn, I read about "slipping a bead" the night before haha I just didn't realize that once slipped, it could pop back into place.
I definitely got lucky. I don't THINK I was riding on it that long flat, but I honestly have no idea since we were in the mud and snow. Thanks for the suggestion, Jenson. I will drive a bit later today and take a listen. If I hear anything I will definitely take it in to get looked at.
    Appreciate it fellas!!!

Also a note: I don't think I will be going less than 20 psi in the future unless someone with a lot of experience tells me differently and can explain the "why" behind it to me lol.

Hey Jenson (is Beckler your real name like your profile says?). I am wondering because I told Chris (co-founder) that I thought you had been out with them before and you were the one who told me about them. Chris asked your first name and I wasn't sure lol

I have to meet up with him at some point because he gave me his radio last night and I forgot to give it back to him. Anyways, I just thought I would let him know your name...if you don't mind.

I've had wood pop my bead and make it's way inside the tire. It popped back and aired up fine and I drove it a few thousand miles before dealing with the wood in the tore lol below is my friend Zane's @Speedytech7 truck in the log jam that I suspect got my tire.

Man M3, that is some crazy terrain you guys were going over!!! Insane!
Thanks for the heads up on the "quote" feature, I appreciate it.

Beck, I will let him know. Last night he said he was expecting about 7 total vehicles but 19 of us showed up. Quite a few of us "newbies" there lol
    It was a great time.

The valve core not seating properly would be my bet as to why you lost air. I feel it's unlikely the bead found its way back onto the rim without any pressure inside pushing it out. When you put air back in it cleared whatever debris was in the way.

Played in the snow a bit around Cascade on Sunday. Being solo I didn't push it too far. I'm very pleased with my compressor setup going from 10psi to 25psi in 4 minutes and 34 seconds on all 4.20221113_134441.jpg
