    None... yet.
I'll run ethanol-free if a particular vehicle gets better mpg with it... or if I just don't feel like sitting in line at Costco. So much more expensive though and, as quick as I go through a tankful on the bike, that ethanol isn't in there very long! I can get 40mpg if I'm riding sedately...

Given a choice I'll run Ethanol free in all my bikes EFI or carb. There is a cut off though to deciding at what point the Ethanol free is worth it. I just finished running 2 straight tanks of non-Ethanol through the FJR and the difference in fuel mileage is almost exactly 10%. When running the commonly available in my area E10 I average a touch under 42 mpg. Running straight "real gas" for 2 consecutive tanks I got just under 47 mpg. I rode similar routes, commutes to work, and tried to keep speeds and riding style as similar as possible.

Biggest difference appears in my Buell and my Honda CB400F. For the Buell I need 93 octane and often add octane booster to control detonation, mostly because of cam selection and higher compression. Non Ethanol performs noticeably better on that bike in terms of all around performance and less pinging. On the Honda CB400F fuel mileage on the "real gas" is into the mid 50s with noticeably smoother starting.

They put you in a cast rather quick. We always do splints for a day or two b/c of swelling that may occur. Make sure to keep an eye on your toes. Don't lose feeling or let them turn blue :D
Here's to a quick recovery

small fracture on my left knee cap
right foot has a semi shattered metatarsal
stitches on my left foot big toe (i was in vans)
stitches on my right forearm (i was in a hoodie and a vest)
had a surgery to clean out my knees (i was in shorts)

legit, would have had an easier time if i was in full gear so... yea i know
and my speed was a huge factor in me not being totally fucked

guy a few rooms down from me was not in good shape from a moto accident as well, speed kills so ride safe

Keep an eye on it. Compartmental syndrome can cause a lot of shit.

I've always heard that most accidents occur within 5 miles of home that's why I want to move........Glad you're not hurt worse.

Will save the proper riding gear speech for later.

I’ve ridden once in my vans, a few times in tennis shoes, but I mainly ride in my work boots and I really need to find some actual motorcycle shoes/low boots for better ankle support ( I don’t think my ankle would be the way it is if I had proper ankle support when I laid my bike down in the sand) and friction protection.

Fuck man, I am glad you are relatively okay. This type of shit is what got me back into the dirt and away from the street. Just can't afford to put my life in as much risk right now with a toddler/small child. I hope you heal up quick.
